For me...it's not about picking my favourite project...because we all have different taste. For me...it was about picking favourite techniques. I love how you share what you do.
I am in the middle of downsizing from a 2400 square foot house to a 1200 square foot house. SO...MUCH stuff has to go. I'm trying to be ruthless in my purging...getting rid of what won't work in my new home. BUT...your brilliant ideas have made me look at my cast-offs in a new light....and that's what it's all about.

Julie, for ME.....this is one of the best videos you've done! LOL. Seriously, these turned out so adorable. And as I watched the baby one, I thought how cute it would be to take any favorite picture of a little one and do the the same thing. I'm going to find some of my grandchildren and make a set for my daughter. And how sweet it would be to take a photo of my daughter as a baby and do the same thing for HER babies! This has inspired me to try all sorts of design ideas for these books. Thank you for sharing the details! I also think it would be good to have a couple different ones at a craft show with a sign, "taking special orders with your picture". I can imagine you might get quite a few orders.

I always love your projects Julie and I love the book stacks. I’ve never thought of putting a photo on them though. I’ve got 21 grandchildren, gonna have to go through my photos and find pics of the kids together, I’m not doing one for each grandchild, I’ll be going forever otherwise. I have been on a mission looking for old books ( OR BOOKS PERIOD! ) not having thrift stores in my STATE....ugh NEW YORK 😢 I have been looking on eBay and Etsy... oh my goodness. Everyone knows they are a HOT ITEM ....so the prices are insane !

Try your library. My library has a section where people can donate books. These books are free plus the library adds books to the collection.
@@keecatz212 I only wish I was near a Public Library.....small town USA... we have, thankfully , our School, Church, General Store , a Family run restaurant and a Post Office. A city closes to us is 40 -50 minutes away..( yup we do have paved roads 👍 wooo hooo ).
