- A little vlog this week - Painting is my Happy Place! Thank heavens for creativity during these strange days huh? In this video, I am sharing some dream journaling where I describe a recurring one I've had since being a child & a few meanings behind them too. I've also been painting lots of flowers and have named this my Flower Power project now! I'm really inspired and back in my creative flow since moving into my new studio a few weeks ago. And, I've even changed my schedule again (!) to improve my time management, productivity and work-life balance. I hope it works because I do find myself working long hours in the week and it always spills over onto the weekends too. I would definitely like to prevent this & to be a good boss to myself prioritising my self-care and the need to inhale & exhale. I loved making this video for you and really hope you enjoy it.

Imma start righting down my dreams .

I never have flying dreams, but I do fairly regularly have dreams where I confront an incoming tsunami wave or water flooding from my ceiling. This usually happens when I am being very emotional in waking life.
I cannot find words to tell you Wendy how much I enjoy your charming company and these videos. Your choice of music is perfect and I often chuckle with you as I relate so well to what you are saying. Sending a great big virtual bear hug!
I had a dream that saved my life. I will never forget it. My dearest girl friend died in 2007. She is always sending me messages but this dream came true. I ended up finding the exact spot we were in the dream. I still think about it always and I will never forget it. How could I, she saved my life. Thank you to my dearest friend Connie. Blessed be

Procrastinating with a capital P, each day I tell myself to get started and then let other things get in the way! Why! because I really love creating and can’t believe I let this happen! Watching you today helps me realize, it’s ok! A lot of us creatives are sensitive and are taking small bites of the overwhelming pain mountain to digest and produce meaningful work again! This seems perfectly acceptable to me! Blessed and safe days!

Well done on the sale of Your Original Ghost She is so Sweet .how fabulous!! As a Cancerian Crab(by) I decided to change my Monday to MOON-daze hahhaa Love to keep a Dream Journal and try and write down what I can remember and over the years I have lost track of how many Prophetic ones I have had ..I find Nightmares are actually My Higher self trying to get my attention..One of my many dreams that seem to repeat themselves is ..Wandering through Antique Markets seem to be so real that if ever We make it to the UK I bet I will find them . Another is dressing People in Costumes . ...and Lots of Flying dreams (I think a lot of them are Astral travel dreams , sometimes I come back too fast in my body and arrived with a crash ) One night I found a Frog themed Cafe and went up the stairs following the Frog tracks ..all the tables were Lilly pad shaped .. I got a Juice of some sort ..took a few sips and felt a bit weird...so started to leave as I got to the front door , I took a step down and ended up bouncing.. boinged out into the street and headed down the road ...ended up as high as the small buildings ..then found that if I gave a wiggle forward I could propel myself even further ..then I woke x

Thanks for your tangent on your dreams. I was so surprised as you were telling the story because I often have these dreams when I'm suddenly flying, sometimes w/absolute fear of falling. The landings vary: gliding down to a rough landing or just gently landing as I get to a surface below or just flying from one point to another never landing. The other night it was being in fear of falling from being in the air but I just gently landed in a fluffy tree as if it were a cloud & poof no more worry. I beat myself up for not always writing my dreams down but not about the horrible dreams you don't want to even think about for fear they'd really happen.
Many years ago I had reoccurring dreams of tornados. I had a lot of turmoil in my life then. Looked it up in my dream book and it said turmoil!! That explained it. Haven't had those ever again. Also I have dreams that come around from time to time to prepare me or warn me of the future. Premonitions are what they are. I started having them since I was a child. Pretty cool!!! I had a magical dream a couple of years ago in which gave birth to a story. A year ago I had another dream where a new character (a frog) came into the story, so that is added to the book as well. The best dream/travel/lesson I have ever experienced. 💙

The design in the dress of the girl with the lilies painting is very pretty!🎨 I usually have dreams in which I am going somewhere- on a vacation, to a restaurant, or something pretty nice. When I wake up I have something to look forward to-cozy, adventurous, or fun things!🥧🍛☕🚗🌞I also love your studio with the plants giving everything a refreshing atmosphere!🍃

Yeap I'm with you on the procrastinating, why do we not do the things we know we should, it stresses me out. I have had the same reoccurring dream of flying just being able to lift myself off the ground and I go and try to encourage others, so it's like breaking free and encouraging others to do the same. I can recall it is very uplifting and made me feel happy in the morning when I woke from this dream, which is unusual as I don't sleep well and normally wake with a headache or feel so tired. Love your videos and your work, maybe sometime when we are allowed to travel I will venture back down to Somerset and explore as I've still not seen the Tor. Xx

Hi lovely. It's good to see your flower creations. They are beautiful and being an old hippie flower power really appeals. At the moment I am painting the datura angel trumpet flowers in my garden. I wish I could magically make the paintings have the perfume of the flowers that fills my home in these Autumn evenings.
I love flying dreams and had them often in my younger days. My dreams began with me running gravity free and lifting up higher and higher. My falling dreams were mostly related to illness.
Oh dear the issue of procrastination has been a biggy for me in the past. I would procrastinate through fear and anxiety. Nowadays I procrastinate over physical jobs like mowing the lawn and getting on my step ladder to trim back branches of small trees. The actual doing of it is never as bad as my procrastinating imaginings and it's such a relief to get those 'have to" tasks off my mind.

This isn't a reoccurring dream, but rather a shared dream that saved my daughter's life. My son and I both dreamed that my daughter, Sarah was in danger. I told James that because we both dreamed the same dream at about the same time, we must keep watch over Sarah until the danger has passed. That very day, we were at a store, and an elderly woman opened the front door and allowed my daughter to run out. Because I was watchful, I was able to pull her back from the street before the car hit her. The whole incident happened so quickly, that if I had not been super aware, we would have lost her. The woman was very apologetic and had no idea why she had opened the door and allowed a three year old to go out. Pay attention to your dreams.

Loved your introductory walk so good for the soul,we visited Glastonbury many years ago and I actually climbed up to the Tor sat down and had a small meditation,stayed in a lovely bed and breakfast which had a nice garden where I did some coloured sketches,these are all cherished memories now.
I am working on a gratitude journal recycling an old diary gluing three pages together to make them more robust and removing three pages every stout completed one,this prevents the journal becoming excessively bulked out.
I usually find that my dreams can never be remembered unless I jot something down in a book by my bed.Love your new journal and I am sure that it will grow srteadily over the weeks and months into another thing of beauty,thank you for all of the time and effort that you put into these video's..

Yes....I had many, many reoccurring dreams of flying while I was younger (I'm 68). I remember trying to fly like Superman, which didn't work (this was not a conscious goal). Later, I would dream of rising straight up from our backyard. I "learned" to walk along the fence and peek into the neighbors' backyard. I loved dreaming this. Then I learned to rise higher and see more. When I was in high school I tried flying in the halls. I would begin to go over some heads (glorious!) but then I would ALWAYS feel I was about to trip and then I would catch myself. The feeling was so real that it would wake me up. ETC. Neat to share with you. Thanks!

I used to have recurring dreams from childhood into adulthood. Once I figured out what each dream was trying to tell me I never had that dream again. It took decades but I don't have any recurring dreams anymore.

I have a recurring dream about a haunted wing of my house. It started off as a really ruined wing with lots of floors and secret rooms all of which needed renovating with lots of feelings of unseen presences & ghosts. (Interesting you just sold a painting called “Ghost” ) As the years have gone on it has become less ruined, less floors, less rooms and lately it has been in someone else’s house, office or a rented house. One recently was me selling the house but a lovely little girl came with her family to view it and I felt guilty selling a haunted house to her and retracted the sale. I feel it is past memories I’m working through. I’ve been going through some stuff recently and the hauntings and ruined nature of the building have come back, but not as bad as the first dreams. I’m not scared in these dreams but apprehensive and a but reluctant to go into that wing.

I love the way this video started out with lovely nature. I’ve been in procrastinating mode a few days now and can’t seem to really shake it. I did plant some lobelia and violas in a couple of pots in front of my condo which felt good. I love how honest you are with us🥰 I just had my bedroom and master bath painted, at 72 it’s a lot of work to prepare and do all the clean up after. It did come out great, a filmy green that is soothing. Procrastinating on hanging pics, and other stuff. It was very relaxing to watch you; share and doing art. I was initially packing already made up art as gifts--- if, my items are sitting and haven't sold I give what I have made away bc love on a dresser isn't getting seen-- so, there was an opportunity to give a gift and off a few things go! I wish they will like the items and keep me in mind if they think someone will like what I do--- in my sincere heart I am glad to send them off. But I couldn't pack-wrap-finalize because I was missing whatever you were actually doing and pointing out!

One time where I was having flying dreams, I was flying out over an open field of wheat. On a sparkling sunny day. There were 3 entities teaching me how to fly or levitate across this field. I did it the first time. I was so exited, I told the beings "wait, I want to do it again, I can do it better!" all I could see were Sparkles of gold and blue eyes. they were delighting in watching me learn.👼🌞

Waking up and realizing it’s not just Friday, it’s also Wendyday! Yay! My recurring childhood flying dream was about how I could use my arms to fly up but could not get back down. I would turn upside down flapping my arms and kicking my legs trying to get down to earth. I have always had vivid dreams in color. It’s comforting to hear other artists have episodes of procrastination and many projects going at the same time. Some of them just have to percolate a bit before I can proceed and I guess that’s ok. Yes! as a child I used to have a dream that I was in a large room (think cafeteria) with a low tiled ceiling, dark at the far end. Large life sized shapes - cones, squares and circles are dancing in same-shape pairs, to a waltz. Suddenly the music gets warped and becomes too loud, mixed with sounds of many people talking at once. The Dancing shapes start getting violent , the squares are dancing with circles against their will, etc and then I wake up!
Had that dream from 4 years old to my teens years. The last occurrence related to the dream, happened when I was in college, working in a store. While I was running the cash register, I heard the loud sound from the dream behind me. I turned around and there was nothing. I never had the dream again. So weird right?

The flowers are gorgeous! I have recurring ocean dreams often where I am drifting out to see only to suddenly find myself back onshore beside an unknown someone. I tend to have these dreams when going through big transitions. Always feels comforting.

I think that when procrastinating, the very hardest part is to begin. Sometimes when I'm struggling with it , I'll set a timer fpr ten or fifteen minutes to work on a task. There has never been a time when I didn't go beyond the timer - it works for me. Just fyi ...
Have you ever thought about offering an internship to a local college or highschool for a few hours a week which might benefit THEM, but could also benefit YOU!

And yes, lots of flying dreams as a child and still some as an adult. They were great. I’d breathe in deep to ascend and breathe out quite hard to descend. Normal breathing just kept me where I was. That feeling of flying over the trees and buildings. Flying dreams were the most wonderful re-occurring dreams. The other recurring dreams as a child were pretty awful, dark nightmares. I won’t repeat them here but I think I came to understand what they meant.
I just treated myself to some liquitex heavy body paints, some of their acrylic inks and some Jackson’s alcohol inks and some mediums and papers, a journal and some brushes. I’ve been learning watercolour painting for the last couple of years and love the medium but I find it so difficult to just mess about with watercolours, hence the mixed media approach I’m going to play with ❤️ Your impact in my life is very positive Wendy, as I’m sure it is for others. Thankyou so much 🌹
