- This film was made in the lanes and villages of Somerset, England on Sunday 14th June 2009. The car is a 1926 Bentley 3.0 litre, is unrestored and is in 'oily rag' condition, but is in good mechanical order. The soundtrack starts with a recording of English church bells, which leads into 'Zadok the Priest' from the Handel Coronation Anthems. 'l'Estasi dell'Oro' by Ennio Moricone follows (The Ecstasy of Gold), and the video closes with Parry's 'Jerusalem. The original video was compressed for TH-cam using a Prism MPEG4(native) codec, at 640 x 427 and 30fps and the audio was compressed using MP3(native) at 44100KHz/ 128kbs stereo.
What an amazing sound-track going with the phantastic Bentley: first the bells, then comes in Handel's fabulous 'Zadock the priest' and a tour in the pittoresque landscape! Congrats! Good taste in every aspect!
This is STILL the best Bentley 3 Litre film on TH-cam ....
What a fantastic combination of appropriate music, our wonderful Somerset . . . . .and that engine!!!!! Best video on You Tube . . . .and I'm a girl and proud of it !!!!!!
Great video! Beautiful scenery and soul stirring music. Cheers from Canada!
Beautiful car,,and a great set,,,The villages of Mark and Wedmore then out to the moors....GREAT !!!
Absolutely wonderful, I know the roads very well, the whole composition is just England
Most marvelous! Looks like it was a great day out thanks for sharing !
It makes you proud to be British !!
Smashing film ! I realy enjoyed that.
Simply wonderful.
Thank you.
Thank you for your kind comment! Another film is being planned.....
Outstanding!
Superb - really well done!
Absolutely brilliant!!!
looks very like a one my dad had in mid/late 80's Phil Spector came to view it, but did not buy it. My dad used to buy and sell along with having a garage for fixing them.
There seems something very right about that car, the countryside, Old English Pubs, the summer and... well Toad and Ratty should be in there as well. As i sit in Typhoon blasted Hong Kong, in 34 degrees of high humidity, I've come over all nostalgic.
Fantastic car but the video is spoiled by being drowned in music.
This is TH-cam, not trashy tv, let’s hear the music of the Bentley!
How did Bentley manage to go from building something of such beauty like that to creating the tat it makes today......
GREAT!!!!!
Thank you - it's only a very amateur effort!
I sold this car to present owner Ernie Warrender. Ernie made this 10 minute video and is the driver. Only the last minute or so is presented here.
The identical video is here also on You Tube presented by a David Cooke. Only difference I see is the title 'card' has more info on the car. and possibly the identical music isn't quite as intrusive, or maybe is the same.
Checked: Presented/uploaded by a Brian Cooke.
Beep beep Mr Toad!!!!!!
2 separate clips pls- one without the music!
Take back control! LOL
