Seori's singing always makes me feel like I'm floating through space, and her voice lends a spatial feeling which I think adds a new layer to this song. I think it really adds that layer of disconnect/distance that occurs when losing someone. Love love love 💕

It feels more like a conversation where she’s speaking with a really powerful tone that turns in to a pretty gentle sound and then almost a whisper at points, rather than really putting her entire body and lungs behind the more “belty” notes. Lmaoo I am bad at describing it, but it just felt so different to me. I don’t think I have ever contemplated a voice on a first listen than I did with hers. I swear I looked over at my bf and said “can you believe this voice you’re hearing?!” and of course he couldn’t, it’s just so different, pretty, and almost angelic. Niki stole my heart with this song after only a few notes honestly. Beyond just Niki being incredible, the song is so good that I’ll listen to anyone perform it.
