Yeah so they sound like thousands of other bands out there! This is good stuff
Apart from the usual explosive sounds, there's such a beautiful restraint about this song; something only a seasoned group of musicians could produce. Can't wait for the rest of the album!

One of the best Skyharbor songs I heard so far. You guys are one of the most unique and original bands in the modern progressive metal / djent genre. I´ll make sure to buy all albums as soon as possible. This song especially has such a nice vibe to it. The leading voice/melody that really pushes the song continuously changes. First, the layered guitar riff in the beginning, then the vocal melody. The first 2 minutes of the song are completly driven by it. A short breakdown and the quiet ambient part after that calm the song down and create a buildup, which kicks in with the uplifting tapping melody at 3:30. The tension rises, until the chorus hits again. A lot of songs in the progressive genre go crazy after 1 or 2 minutes and go into a completly different direction, without coming back to a hook or melody. This song is a true masterpiece, it always offers a melody, either guitar or vocal, to guide you through the song, and the structure is a perfect change between tension and release. I could go on about this forever. Its beautiful anyway

i was half asleep when i saw the notif for this and JUMPED out of bed lmao! this is incredible, the editing is perfect and i'm loving the vibe i'm getting from the imagery. there's so much going on in the world, everything feels so overwhelming. it's all a tiny speck in the grand scheme of the universe, yet it's so important that we all face it and do something to help. the first step is to see it all for what it really is. that's just my interpretation tho! can't wait to see you guys live again, and September 7 is marked on my calendar! i'm taking an entire day to sit down and devote to listening to Sunshine Dust when it comes out. the excitement for this album has been keeping me going. Song is killer. The only thing not really doing it for me are the drums. The loss of Anup hurts. Nothing against the new drummer, but Anup is...well...Anup. He lends a special character to the overall sound that is unique to him, and I'm so used to hearing Skyharbor with him in the lineup that it feels like something is missing without him.
More new skyharbour 😛 loving the new records. Just as good as the old stuff. Eric emery was the ultimate choice for lead take over. Love Eric emery and Daniels Tompkins vocals, both awesome singers. Great track guys!!

I have to admit I didn't love this track when you guys first released it, but it's growing on me a lot. Please don't get too far away from the Guiding Lights vibe of dreaminess, versus going for a more traditional prog-metal sound. I hope this is one of the more straightforward tracks on the album.

They've got two previous albums, with a different vocalist (Dan Tompkins of Tesseract) The first album, 'Blinding White Noise' has mostly clean with some harsh vox and the second, 'Guiding Lights' is just all clean vocals. This song is more similar to anything from GL than the first, the first is a little more riffy. Both are excellent and you should check them out.
