    1966 Ford Galaxie Convertible Hot Rod custom 5.0 Coyote powered at SEMA 2013. This gorgeous and well presented ultimate Galaxie is a cut above on fit and finish and yes that is a fuel injected Single Overhead Cam monster motivating this RestoRod.

    Holy crap. Not my favorite year of Galaxie, but those door handles... Simple and awesome. I also love the chrome grommets in the upholstery. Nice grab Rich.

    It's a Coyote with cammer style rocker covers.Cammers are very rare hard to tune and expensive but coyote U can get way cheaper and easier to run

    Sick ass car. Its actually a 1965 galaxie. I own a a 1966 galaxie, the taillights are more square.

      Yep, I corrected the title but alas it's still wrong in the video. Too many cars that day for sure. Thanks for pointing it out.

    This is a 1965 Galaxie. The '66 had a horizontally split grille, and the taillights were nearly square, rather than hexagonal. Pretty car!

      You are correct, I have changed the title but it's still wrong in the video. Thanks for pointing it out.

      Oh, that's quite alright. I wasn't calling you on this to be a "pest," only to make you aware. I had a 1965 Galaxie Custom. It was a dog though, with that underpowered 240 in-line 6! Pretty car, just the same...wish it had the 352 that they offered in those. It was a hand-me-down, so I took what I was given! It was my first car (1975) and I drove it into the ground. Rock on, Ford man!

    • @MustangConnection1
      @MustangConnection1  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Trust me no "pest" taken, it should be right and I should make sure when I post that it's accurate. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    Is that actually a SOHC though? Or is it a coyote dressed like a Cammer? There's no cam chain cover, and making that E-force supercharger fit would be a bitch

    • @MustangConnection1
      @MustangConnection1  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      So right, I must have looked at too many cars that day. It's dressed to mimic a vintage cammer.

    This engine is not a 427, it's a coyote 5.0 with a supercharger edelbrock

      @MustangConnection1  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dirk Fird I know that Kindig-It built it and you are correct, I just haven't changed the text on the vid yet, need to do that, thanks. After seeing literally hundreds of cars you get a bit numb to what you are seeing.

    That's a 65, not a 66. Different grille (not split horizontally and the turn signals are hidden) and taillights (vertical rectangles instead of square) are the obvious clues. The dash itself is a 65 but all of the controls and instrumentation are customized. The drivetrain is custom, not factory. Even the chassis was aftermarket. Practically the only parts that came from Ford are the exterior body panels.

    Hello again, now I know why you invested too much: "loudly" in this car, I saw it in a Kinding Design TV program, he´s good but very expensive one, I´m finishing mine not in this way but good enough for the budget & ways to find parts. Bye!

      Francisco Jose RosalesRueda Good luck with your build Francisco, yes they do a very fine job on the customs at Kinding's.

    Wow, what a beautifully customized 1965 Galaxie. Yes, I said it is a 1965. At least the grill is a 1965 as a 1966 has a "split" grill with a horizontal piece splitting the center of the grill into an upper and lower. Crazy cool customizations all over this car. Absolutely love it!

      @@MustangConnection1 I thought it looked like the work of Dave Kindig and his crew, especially with the crazy power plant, those beautiful engine bay mods, the Frenched-in door handles, upgraded suspension, leather finished trunk, an interior to die for and every other beautiful detail. I love his work and wish I had a project car and the money for him to trick it out for me :)

    That one looks nice has simular body style to early Nova's. The early 60's galaxie models tried to copy the Impalas then through 65-67 the gto.

      Hmm, maybe mixed and matched pieces because they had identified it in the literature as a 66?
