You are my favorite youtube professor for literary analysis. Your videos are always so brief, simple, but filled with solid literary insight. Thanks so much!
Emily Dickinson is complex, often misunderstood, you did great, as usual. Your poems reading, are like the sweetness of a nectar to me. Happy New Year Rebecca. 😊
Hey Rebecca. I just wanted to tell you that you are a godsend to many college students, including myself. I have listened to many of your videos to help myself gain a better understanding of various different stories that I had to read in my writing class, and your analyses are always a great help. Not only that, but you have a really nice pleasant voice and you're easy to understand. I hope you read this and know that you have helped many people, and your work is greatly appreciated. Have a good day!
And so true!!! Could very well be a poem for people who go through a mid life crisis- when they have completed all of their goals and they don't know what else to do. The poem had a very deep meaning that can be interpreted in various forms!
I missed your videos so much! Thank you for being back, I never knew what "Host" could mean besides "a person who receives people inside their own house", not to mention all of the context you've put on Dickinson's poem, and even though I'm not sure I agree with the poem itself, I have to say, your take on it is just gorgeous, thank you again for doing these videos.
Can you make me understand what Dante Gabriel Rossetti is trying to say in his poem's titled " Choice 1, Choice 2 and Choice 3? I am in great trouble in finding out the underlying meanings or you may call it themes.

mujtaba ali Darn, I don't teach Rossetti enough to be able to help! I wish I could, though! Good luck on finding something.
thank you Rebecca :)
I really enjoy your channel! This is the perfect content for me. :)
Make more videos please
Yes! I will. :-)
Why "purple" specifically?
Would you be able to do a "understanding" of Emily dickinson's poem "Because I could not stop for death?"
Listen to --- then try to forget --- 'The Yellow Rose of Texas'.
My favourite poem
Though you failed to get the essence of this Art work
No disrespect
