Question is it possible to make 2 separate nanostation, such as that cpe, but all are in one location broadcast one Access point as if it was one nanostation?
@@jacktechtips what I mean is that these 2 cpe should give out one Access point name in my area and no matter which nanostation a user is close to the user should not have any trouble connecting such as password retyping and such
make sure your apartment and the one you’re connecting to is in line of site and there’s nothing in its way like a tall building trees that could block the signal
Hello! nice video ... I bought it after seeing you .. but a question: on the instructions that serve the grounding for the antenna .. did I understand correctly? a good shielded ethernet cable is not enough? !!
Remember WiFi is line of sight if you can’t see the house your trying to connect to them it very much the WiFi will be able to reach clear line of site works best
They will tell you that you can but you can’t. I’ve just tried for 2 months with (excellent) assistance from TP link to zero effect. No one could explain why I could hotspot my phone at 10mps from the proposed device site but not get anything with the device in client mode but regardless you’ll need to bridge between two devices to make these work (in my experience)
Hi, Thanks for the Videos. Just curious, did you ever get around to installing this TP Link CPE and placing it by the window as you mentioned you might be doing? Curious to know what sort of range/distance you achieved on the Wifi after doing this.... Thanks!

I have this but how do I set it up to pickup wifi from my work next door to me? I have the wifi password there and they have wifi extenders all around the property and I I want to pick it up using a dish aimed at it from high up from about a half mile away
Hi Thanks for your video. I'm in Australia and live on a large property. I was looking at the 5hz model. Question if I mount one on house and one at one facing North. If I place a 3rd unit to reach South do they have be installed in pairs if South and are the receivers facing but one receiver is facing the transmitter.Sorry if confusing. Does transmitter have to face both the receivers? Thanks.
better if you can do an alive test on it not only cover review. coz some reviews say Its coverage is 100m in real-life practice after USING it. I want to buy one but still confused.
I'd look up terms and conditions with my ISP before setting up something that shares the connection to many users outside the home and double-check things if there's talk about charging for the connection.
Plug it in with a ethernet cable to your pc or mac and set it up using the guide. If you just put it on range extender or whatever it's called then you don't need two tp-link devices. Once its on the network you can unplug it from the pc or mac and set it up somewhere nearby but not too far away. At that point it only needs power, no more wired connection to computer. Raise it up high. Simple, but i wish it was dual band because the 2g is good for only cameras but 5g is only good for watching internet videos and surfing
I have mainly used these as clients, a function for which they have been enormously finicky about connecting! As APs, no problems.
Thanks for advice I’ve been looking for - device to send signal to shop about 1000 yards

I cannot figure out how to set it up with the router
Is the range real?
1.5km....or how much will it drop?
We have 350meter free sight
Is there are few houses between the range, will is still get the signal ?

Hi Jack thanks for your review - can that be accessed via port forwarding? 2/ I see that model had 2 ports what model is that?
Can I hook this up in the following configuration?
router(zyxel p8702n) -> CPE510 -> 50meter -> CPE510 -> router(tp-link deco m4).
So I need to run a wire a few hundred meters? Is there a wifi solution?
Yes about to upload a new video With a new WiFi solution for you :)

Yes sir..for best performance..they should face the transmitter..unless the transmitter is omni dorectional
can i use it indoor? how it would work inside my house?
multipath hell, tons of jitter. I know because that's my setup
does this work with omada
Single unit range is only 60 to 70 meters and speed is not good in this device
Can connect the cpe210 and cpe510

do u you by any chance buy this and check and the range?
0:08 still has that plastic foil on it ...
OK, bye ! :))
Hi mate I really hope you can help I have the 510 but do i need another one even tho it's just for the WiFi in the back garden
R4VENCREST most indoor WiFi can reach the front and back garden but if your finding it not then install an outdoor one :)
@@jacktechtips so will the 510 to link do that or what do I need
In you are exprence do think this to link has long range WiFi
can this cpe be used as wireless extender???plz reply
Yes it can be used as a repeater
Do we need to by two of these ?
Only if you doing end to end points over a large area
Can I use this inside the room?
These are design for out door access only and not for in door use, I wouldn’t use it for in door unless it a warehouse :)
@@jacktechtips So this is not a good option if you want to get wifi to another house nearby? What is the better solution. thanks.

I see videos setting these up and no one hooks it up to the router. Instead they hook it up to a pc.

i`ll have just one of the thousand he`s had...
so can i use this in my garage and then connect ethernet to it straight to my DVR for my security camera ?
no. you have to set it up. i would not think you are capable of doing this given the question you are asking. sorry for being so blunt.
Tp link cpe610 connect to tp link cpe510
What is the point of this video? You want tp link to send you free stuff to go with the stuff you have and havent used?
waisted my time you did not show how to configure . . . really!!
