The book is based around the murder of a widowed mother of 10 children Jean McConville who was abducted and killed by the IRA. She isn’t mentioned yet in the trailer but I am assuming the show will also be about this and the people involved.

Excellent Review. It is based on The Price Sisters Marian and Deloures who were members of the IRA during the Troubles.
