- The first game with all the Division 1-A teams (at the time), fun game, I think this is also the first game to use the real bowl names... this is the Sega Genesis version... probably my 2nd favorite college football game behind NCAA 06... which will probably always be my favorite.

As a 13 year old college football fan with a Sega Genesis, this game was the shit! if i had to name my favorite video game of all time - here it is. i love almost everything about EA NCAAFB '96(i wish they would've included all the bowls instead of just the BCS) gameplay, graphics, 108 teams to choose from, player specific rosters, official conference licensing, expansive playbooks, replay features, and the music/SFX are fantastic! This game truly was innovative.
One thing always made me wonder though: why did Rice and Oregon State have such unique offensive sets(see for yourself)?

i used to only play this game for the awesome song in the beginning.
This was the last game to include the University of the Pacific, which dropped football after the 1995 season. R.I.P. Pacific football.

Oh My God- this is it!!! I used to LOVE this game. I think its the best 16-bit sports game ever- you even had the choice to play a 16-team tourney after the season, as you can see in the menu. My fav is NCAA 08 tho- the last college game with the old rules (25 sec play-clock, clock stops when you go out of bounds, etc.)
Running the ball on this game was hard as hell
I use to run all over this game. Florida State had the best running game on here

one of the 5 ea college football games i didnt buy (96,97,00,01,02). i had just got a ps1 and was waiting for it to come out on ps1. 95 is my fav.
For about a half second at :47, you see Pacific. They dropped their football program after that season. So that was the one season you saw Pacific in a College Football video game.

Boise State didn't start playing Division 1-A until the 1997 season.
This menu song will play in my head if the NCAA doesn't decide to renegotiate with EA Sports after the lawsuit is paid off and EA Sports ends up releasing a new College Football USA.

Yeah you got the GA dog head and the full duck for miami.... and yeah Boise State was in the 97 game i think but not here... crazy

@setemupSK I was like 3 or 4 when we had this, I felt the same way, in all honesty I think I just liked the game because there were so many different teams and jerseys and all... kept me interested haha

University of Washington was awful on this game due to a glitch.
I know it's your opinion. Just sayin' I don't agree with it.
BTW, you see throwbacks and retro unis for MONEY and marketing, not because new logos suck. If you ask me, several old logos suck because of how gaudy, dull, and (in some cases) weak they are.
