One of my favorite parts of these videos is where you start to make a mistake, catch yourself, explain what mistake was almost made, why that's bad, what steps you should have taken, etc. (Ref: 10:30ish, starting a sketch on the wrong part in the assembly).
I'm doing a change (of field) within my career, and I found this online course really helpful!!!. A professional way to explain, good vocabulary, clear, step by step. Excellent job!!
Did anyone else get a rebuild error when trying to shell out the back half of the assembly after completing the dome command? Only one arc face is coming up with an error... I've tried a slightly smaller shell and slightly larger shell with no resolution. I deleted the part of the assembly, retraced my steps, and when I got to this part got the same error.
I just ended up making a .05 shell using the extruded component of the second part. I tried every sneaky thing I could think of, but every time I try to include the dome in the shell procedure it gives me a rebuild error. I'm suspicious of the height of the dome converging to what looks like a singular vertex, and isn't actually .05 think at the apex of the dome. The only other thing I can think of I'm doing differently is I'm working in millimeters instead of inches, but I can't imagine that's the issue since the scaling is still the same and I can't be the only one who's done this.
Yes, I have the same problem. It occurs to me when he changes the length. I have no clue what is wrong as in the exploded view everything looks correcly done. My rebuild error is due to those little clips though

Why my right plane of part 2 is not cutting through it?
