- On Friday 2 October 2015, a USAF Lockheed C-130J-30 registration 08-3174, tried to takeoff in the middle of the night, but a NVG case wouldn't let it happen. Don't forget to sub, like and comment for more videos.
They didn’t do a check to make sure the controls had their full range of motion before takeoff? RIP
My thought too.
It's dark out there, they probably didn't remember that they put the nvg case there
@@Randomly_Browsing that appears to be the case (no pun intended). Between the expedited offload/onload and the visual limitations of the NVG’s inside the cockpit, PLUS any possibility they didn’t do a full control free-movement check during taxi….. all the holes in the Swiss cheese align
They died because of a eye glasses case? They crashed a four year old plane. RIP Captains.

It should be mandatory to check all controls and their correct movement before engine startup. Every model pilot knows how essential this is, even after a few flights. Why isn`t it mandatory for the big ones?

Never would have happened if they went through the proper take off sequence. That’s why they are there and you are ordered to complete every time. He had checked his range of motion of the various flight surfaces he would have found out then and he’d been super relieved
RIP
The tower is still standing, but the three inside died?
ever heard of getting crushed by falling debri?
There was an intense fire too, I think.
You win "Dumbest Comment" for the moment, but don't worry, I'm sure someone else will compete for it.
@@SplashJohn Love it....Got ya....
"Middle East" isn't a country. Jalalabad is in Afghanistan.
Afghanistan is NOT in the Middle East! Get your geography straight.
Correct but pedantic
Middle east? Why not say the name of the country? Afghanistan.
And Afghanistan is not in the Middle East.
fake news
