Why is everyone getting on Paris for not intervening?? She clearly said she was not trained to do full face makeup. Therefore she is not authorized and could get in trouble for doing something she is not suppose to do. Above anyone else, the person most at fault is the manager. If the client asks for a manager and she is not happy with the the service the manager should have said, I'm sorry. Sit down, let's fix it and here is a discount. Her repeating that she looks nice is not how a MANAGER should have dealt with the situation. The manager is the most at fault.

This is why I don't advertise to freelance. I've never had the opportunity to work on darker skin tones. If I don't know what I'm doing, I'm not going to to it. It's best to be honest if you don't know what you're doing. If you've never worked on a darker skin tone, SWATCH. DAMN. It's not hard. Find someone more experienced if you don't have the time to swatch. I'm cringing.
At least you're mature enough to acknowledge that. There are many women in the beauty world who will try to do ANYTHING to get a dollar. Even if it means that it will ruin their reputation.

It was giving me anxiety just thinking about being in that women's position omg. I'm always thinking about that at those makeup store that do makeovers. Everyone does their makeup a little differently to match their face structure/shape/complexion so for someone who is not all that trained to be doing your face, nope nope nope. Most of these girls doing the makeovers slaying their face so they assume they're makeup artist but YOU GOTTA KNOW FACTS LADIES, it's more to it then having the sharpest wing.

Honestly, she probably would've been fired if she offered to fix it. She wasn't trained in it, and retail places are crazy af and want to fire people for nothing. I think she should've said something at the foundation stage though. Maybe pull her aside and tell her that you think the foundation is a little too light and offer to help find a shade, after that there's really nothing more you can do.
