I’m mad at myself for waiting so long to read these, but this year I have slowly been collecting and reading through the library editions. I’m halfway through volume 6 right now and they are now my favorite comics of all time
My favorite Hellboy story too and you're right about Duncan I love what he do and it's hard to decide over Mignola's art but Duncan's hellboy it's amazing.
Hey, Mike! Really can't beat reading Hellboy. I've been rereading some Hellboy lately, myself- plus the Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. stuff, which is great, btw! And yes, Fegredo nailed it on his take on Hellboy! I luv Corben's take on him as well! There a a few great artists who draw a kick-ass Hellboy on par w/Mignola(I guess I'm heretical, too, lol). Anyways, luv this video! Can never get you much Hellboy in your diet, lol! U guys & your fams stay safe! Much luv!😊👍🏻👍🏻❤ P.S. If u guys could say a little prayer for my baby, Blueberry, & for me & my family, I'd appreciate it. I don't know how much time he has left, & it is just so heartbreaking. Especially after just losing little Joey earlier this yr, & only having adopted Blue in May. Thanx, guys. ❤
ive stopped at vol 3 with the library editions and moved on to BPRD plague of Frogs i'm on book 3. Itching to get back to the library editions!! hopefully BPRD will enhance the overall narrative!
Nothing wrong with putting aside a Mignola title for another Mignola title lol! I think it does! The more you get of that universe the better it all becomes, it’s truly incredible what was done with that universe
From what I know and have seen, Dark Horse has typically kept the library editions in a constant state of reprinting. I suspect the pandemic has had an impact, but my gut says that the LEs will make a comeback to regular pricing. If you want to dive in sooner though, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with getting the omnis! I think they even improved the mapping in those editions!
Do you think they will ever reprint the hardcover bprd books? I couldn't wait so now I have abe sapien in hardcover, hell on earth in paperbacks and plague of frogs in half paperbacks and half hardcover lol
I remember reading that there is little chance they will reprint the BPRD hardcovers, but you never know! I do know people that have taken the paperbacks and had them custom bound into hardcovers that look like the official releases

These are without doubt my favourite books. The whole mignola universe is fabulous lobster Johnson and the BPRD are must reads.

I bought those books 10 years ago. I still don't have shelves for them. Ha!
Should I buy the omnibuses? These Library editions are really expensive and some of these are hard to find too.
