Around 1988 I was a radio engineer in Cincinnati Ohio. I was assigned to go to RiverBend and set up Henry Mancini for a live radio interview. It was a dream. I got setup and there he was...Henry Mancini. While waiting to go on-air he asked me what the name of the river was outside the window. I said that was the Ohio River. He looked at it and smiled. I can never hear Moon River and not think of that moment.
Having been in the US music business for over 45 years, I've heard hundreds of artists, professional and amateur, perform this song. None have done it better than you. I'm moved to tears. Bravissima, bellissima. ❤🎼🎶🎵🎶❤
I'm 72. We had this on an LP of Henry Mancini hits and it got played Extensively. I was in everything our school had for music. We sang this song in choir, and small choir, and men's group. Played it in dance band. It will be a long time before I forget this. Yes she did an excellent job. Soft and easy to listen to. She also sang it in a range that I can sing to as well.

You have no idea how this song has touched my heart and recalled a simpler time when I was 7 and it was1962. We watched Bonanza every Sunday as a family. Once it was over the Andy Williams Show came on and he would sing the beginning of Moon River. As a child, I didn't like it because it meant time for bed. But you sang it so beautifully.
