I have two Unger Grabbers, and they pick up something as a tooth pick or penny. Also they can grip glass bootle.

These comparisons are super helpful. Thanks! The standard length of 32" is too short for me (6'2") so you want demo it when picking something up from the floor. You want the shortest one that accomplishes the task without bending (shorter means more stable, and short also means you easier navigate what you picked up into a trash bag or whatever). Avoid a folding model as that feature compromises stability. Gauge grip strength when holding the item not nesting the claw(?). Re your winner: The suctions cups fall off in short order. Doesn't effect the ability to pick up trash and might even improve things. The handle on mine snapped off when picking up something heavy.

I bought one with suction cups and almost immediately both of the cups split in two so they wouldn't go back onto the screws.
I never even picked up anything heavy with it; just socks and a plastic hanger that fell behind the dryer.
Looking for a good one to replace it with, but suction cups are a definite NO for me.
My grabber I brought from Harbor Freight, it was only 2.99, I"ve had it for about three and.it works great!
I have broken 5 of them already. They are too weak.
Prob pretty good if you don't need much weight or stress on them but for actually picking up trash they are trash lol.
Trying to grab a 5 pound weight is insane 😆 but I truly do appreciate the video. 🙏

Just want to add my 2cents… I just had back surgery, got the “suction cup” one-on second day of using it I grabbed a sock off the floor & it broke (cable inside came apart from handle) My friend took it back for me where I bought it & got another one (same one) Gave it to me, & it didn’t last 24 hours-it broke again!!🤷♀️
Yikes! I guess you get what you pay for. Does anyone have advice on the ultimate grabber? Maybe I need to review that one too.

Suction cups are great for an elderly person who reach places. However, they aren't to be precise as the unger.
It folds up for those trips to Vegas so you don't have to bend over to pick up your winnings.
It is often difficult to complete dressing with the suction cup one.

The cheap ones break at the handle (which is made out of brittle plastic).
Five pounds is a lot for any grabber tool.
I'm in a wheelchair and oddly enough the one with the magnet came in handy when I dropped my keys and it hit my shoes and went under my bed.... I couldn't even see what I was doing and when I pulled the grabber back out they were attached to the magnet... But will I ever need it again? Only time will tell...

That Ziyad is TRASH! There's a 1.5 space in the claw when the handle is fully squeezed. Doesn't grab worth a damn!
