I agree R.I.P Bob, and I think about you Clare all the time when I watch these older videos. Thanks for the videos and thanks for sharing Bob with us as well! I hope you are coping well.
I'm on my second one today! Been making different colors. I wore one to work today and a coworker asked me to make her one. I added the button/strap detail for a different look. Love this pattern!
@@CrochetwithClare it is! I think I added to many rows and there was this blank space I wanted to fill in. The button strap was just the ticket! Thank you again for the great tutorial..☺
Woot woot! This is my second hat in four days...and I've never done any before. I made the one without the brim and I LOVE it. I made it with a dark purple and a light purple. Thank you for the detailed (and easy) tutorial!
That was totally awesome. I was trying to do a similar pattern for a hat with a brim but no matter how many times I tried I always ended up with it so bunched up it looked more like a hair scrunchy than a hat so when I came across this tutorial I decided to try it and it was SO EASY. Instead of doing color changes though I used camouflage yarn and added the brim I had already made for the other pattern. Thank you so much. I am officially a fan.
Greetings from India..made the cap for my grand nephew..it has come out perfect ‼️Thank you..love your videos..dog,cicadas, your minor bloops and all 😀❤️‼️
Made this hat today! Of course I made it a tad to big so I ran some small elastic around the back from brim side to brim side and it fits perfect! Will definitely be making more. It already getting cold and snowy in Minnesota so this will be perfect.. Thank you so much for the tutorials!😊
oh, that sounds kind of cool. I would like to see how you did it. Have you joined our group yet? You can share all of your bobwilson123 projects here. facebook.com/groups/338449986970915/
I've used your pattern to make a child's Tam O'Shanter hat and scarf set, and it really makes a difference to the look of them - thank you for your inspirational input, Clare :)
I absolutely love your tutorials.....my hats always turn out beautifully....thank you so much for your hard work - I don't (can't) read patterns so i rely on video's....you're a darling coach....South Africa (East London)
Love this pattern! Made one for my husband and one for my 6 year old son. Will be making one for me but my daughter wants me to make her the dimple hat which I'll also be using your tutorial for. Thank you so much for sharing all these wonderful patterns & tutorials! :)
I love your choice of patterns and your tutorials are fabulous. I've made the Tezzie Hat and the Grey Headband with button closure. I can't wait to try and to make the Jacob's Ladder Hat and the High Tea Brimmed Hat. Thank you for sharing!!!!!
Hi, Clare. First off, let me say how much I enjoy your videos. Your designs always look great and your instructions are always so clear and easy to follow. As a crocheter of more than 30 years, I have a simple suggestion I hope will make magic circles easier for you. After creating your circle, try holding your tail to the left and crocheting over it. That way, after you make the first stitch (sc, hdc, dc, etc.) you don't have to worry about the tail coming loose and you can still use it to tighten up the center of the circle later. Hope this suggestion isn't years too late to be of any help. :-) Happy crocheting.
Better late than never with seeing this tutorial. Love how you were modeling it. I'm going to make this one up in a pink a grey. Thanks for sharing your talents!
Super cool video.. I made a hat today following this tutorial and this is my first hat project.. It came out great.. I m waiting for winter to put this on..Thanks for your video..
I absolutely Love your work and very much enjoy watching/listening to you. Couldn't have found a better teacher on TH-cam. Thank you very much for sharing your videos :-D
This was such a gorgeous hat. I got my measurements wrong, though. It was the right size for my usual hat when I measured the way you did, but when I did the ladder bit and the tightening in the center... it is WAY too small! I'll have to try again, and make it really big with a larger hook, as I do tend to have a tight tension. Thanks for the wonderful tutorial, my friend said it was the best thing I ever crocheted even if it was tiny!
That is a super cute hook! :) I am addicted to all these hat tutorials. I know you've got tutorials for all kinds of things but I just l-o-v-e the hats!!
I love your work. I finally had the chance to see that I can subscribe to you. Hoping to find many more beautiful patterns to make from your videos. Thanks a million, Angie
best hat making video I've seen yet, thank you so much for posting this. Note to self, do not try to KNIT and watch a crochet video at the same time! LOL thanks again, I can't wait to try this with some of my handspun!
Amazing pattern! Thank you for sharing this pattern I'll definitely send a picture of my finished piece. I'm using bernat scarfie yarn and it's turning out beautifully!
This is such a great video! I watched it through, and then started trying the hat myself. I got through to the 4th or 5th row and then realized I missed one of the chain 6's. Darn! You even reminded us not to forget that...Oh, well. Now I will be more careful! Thank you!
Love this and you. Unfortunately the first hat I made was way big but I thread the back of the hat and pulled tight so it fit to my daughters head. worked out well. not sure how to upload a picture tho. I think your great. Your lessons are very well explained and almost seem easy (tho I know these are not as easy as you make them seem) THAT makes for a fantastic teacher. Thanks again. Looking forward to watching other videos and creating great things.....
Hello Dawnmarie GS you cna not upload a photo to yoututbe, but you can share it on our facebook page :) FaceBook - facebook.com/bobwilson123TH-camCrochetVideos

As I type I'm trying out some Firefox add-ons that allow you to very easily download the video. If you use Firefox go to Add-ons and just look for 'youtube'. There were a few to choose from. Busy making the peak hat and home wi-fi speeds can be a problem so this will be really helpful.
I agree R.I.P Bob, and I think about you Clare all the time when I watch these older videos. Thanks for the videos and thanks for sharing Bob with us as well! I hope you are coping well.
