This really captures the excitement and passion of each craftsman! I love how you were able to locate the best potter from the best tea farmer; seems like such a tight knit community
You can easily see how much pride these craftsmen take in seeing their work through from start to finish. I'm a little jealous! It's challenging to find economically viable ways to experience this now.
I’m impressed by the care and time spent on each craft. It takes incredible patience and years of learning. Modern society is more focused on speed and automation. Thanks for sharing your appreciation of their craft.
Thank you for the look at the works of these craftspeople. This is a video filled with so much detail. The film displays so much rich texture. The stories convey powerful lives of bravery and mastery. This is a project well done. I liked the quote at the end. “Right here. This chair. In this view of Hoshino Valley”.
Thank you so much for watching! And for the supportive words here. I'm right with you on the chair in Hoshino, btw. When I asked him where his favorite spot was, he didn't even flinch. Seems to have led a full life so far.
It is rare to have a behind the scene glimpse like this. These stories are amazing.
@@Aviather-zp5kf I felt very lucky they were willing to let me see, and film, their world. Thanks so much for watching!

I guess it’s sort of a blessing and a curse for them? I can’t decide. Thanks btw!!

She sounded like she is from New York.
I believe she grew up for a few years in the states before returning to Japan.
