2024 GREYHOUND DERBY FINAL - DE LAHDEDAH

After many years of trying Tralee based breeder and trainer Liam Dowling finally won an English Greyhound Derby and he did it in style with De Lahdedah who equalled the 500m track record on an emotional night for the Kerryman who also saw his Ballymac Gizmo finish 5th. Owned by the five strong Garsuns Syndicate the winner drifted out to a 5/1 because his draw in trap 4 was considered a bad one but favourite King Memphis missed his break from trap 3 and the rest is history.
