    Thanks for watching the 2024 guide! I enjoyed the reaction to both guides. Feel free to speak freely. There have been past reactors that unwisely try to pit the fan bases against one another or put one group down using the other and fans are sensitive to that, but anyone watching can tell that is not your MO. I am really enjoying your reactions! You have a lot of thoughts said with sincerity. I’m all for it.

      Absolutely ❤️ I don’t want to ever put anyone down or belittle one group over another, they are both great!

    Most of the songs that you heard in the guide that you pointed out sounding crazy are in the Outlaw album, so you should totally check that out. at some point. You also need to watch the subunit videos from their World. Fin Album (The one with Crazy Form as the TT), you also liked the sound of those :) But thank you for reacting to them, Ateez is my ult so I love seeing people I've them love haha.
    Also: Im glad you weren't afraid to say what was on your mind, it doesn't matter if you are comparing them to stray kids a bit, its how you can make connections to jumpstart in learning about them and remembering names. After you watch shows and complications of them it becomes easier to know their faces and voices even in the music.

    at 1:48:46, the immortal songs clip you were asking about his reaction haha don't worry he was very much impressed! His personality is kind of like Jongho in the sense he he is on more of the reserved side, quite soft spoken. His name is E hyuk (real name Lee Jae Yong), a fantastic rock singer. His range is insane. He debuted in 2003 so he is very much a veteran in the industry.

    31:28 While not the first Kpop group to incorporate lore into their concepts, I do think ATEEZ's lore is the best fleshed. They are from what I have seen one of the best groups that ACTUALLY EXPLAINS their lore. They have diary versions of albums which have excerpts/letters/diary entries that talk about the story and what is happening in the album universe. Atiny are lucky to have so much lore that is actually handed to them. Not saying it is still not confusing 🤣, but at least I think Ateez and their company try to stick to the lore and also update atiny fairly well about it. Also their Concerts have performances that directly relate to and help interpret the lore better.
    ATEEZ is a 4th gen group, but the lore concept started with EXO, the start of the 3rd generation of kpop. They were the first Kpop group to Debut with lore. Even their debut MV "MAMA" has a movie introduction style type of beginning 🤣. While their lore is also deep and runs through all their MVs and concerts, EXO's lore is harder to decipher because everything is left up to interpretation and symbolism. From everything I have seen, all EXO lore is basically just fan interpretation and a few bits an pieces that the EXO members said as spoilers. Lots of groups in the 3rd generation and onwards started to incorporate lore into their concepts after EXO. Specially SM groups after EXO since they are from the same company (Red Velvet, NCT and units, AESPA). I do not know many groups but lore in Kop is fairly common so watch out hahahaha you might run into more lore when you check other groups out.

    Also, no problem at all wrt mentioning other grps that you love, even making comparisons. I enjoy learning other ppl's perspectives. I don't feel tt you have any intention to be disrespectful. You're just sharing your love. But there were other reactors in the past (but reallly in the small minority) who seemed to enjoy the drama of fanwars & I wont bother to pay another visit to the channel. I wont even comment. I'd just leave a 👎🏻 and go.

    When it comes to dance capabilities across the board, I would say its definitely fair to say ateez is one of the very best in kpop. Best dancer in kpop is more subjective because it is narrowed down to one person and the idols who are commonly considered for this position do have some different styles, as well that many kpop fans are not actually dancers and don't know how to differentiate when someones technique is highly advanced and when it is not. Commonly discussed idols for the best in all of kpop would be taemin from shinee, kai from exo, jimin or jhope from bts, rocky from astro, etc. There are definitely more contenders, and for newer generation idols (although he technically debuted in 4th gen, hes in a 5th gen group now) would be shotaro from riize who is also a former nct member. He's the best technically talented dancer in his group which is saying a lot because they have some of the most difficult, taxing choreographies I've ever seen and several very capable dancers, and its also my opinion that he was the best dancer in nct skill and versatility wise, though ten comes in at a near tie. Its hard to come to a true decision at the end of the day because many of these dancers excel in different styles of performance, but my personal favorite is taemin. Seeing him dance next to other idols who are considered good.. is almost scary at times. No shade to anyone in particular but the sheer visible skill gap when he's dancing to his own choreo especially, is wild every time I witness it. Even seeing other very capable dancers do covers of his choreo, it just never hits the same. He has a very strong aura, presence and way of moving that nobody can really match when it comes to covering his stuff.

    I just came across this reaction. And thank you Atinys for pointing out comparisons. I like to watch reactions but once a particular group is mentioned and compared to them, i turn it off. Not because I don't respect the other group, but because being an Atiny for the longest time, I know how they struggled to make a name for themselves and how other groups had everything on a silver platter. Not that they're not hardworking, but let's face it. They had it way easier than Ateez.

    • @xKuRupTx
      @xKuRupTx  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@wommytiny9691 and so you think they aren’t as talented? It doesn’t matter if a group is given their fame easily with 0 contest at all. It doesn’t mean they aren’t talented or shouldn’t be liked. I understand Ateez have had it the hardest out of any group I’ve seen thus far but to say they are better than everyone purely because of the hard work is disingenuous. Yes Ateez is very good and tbh they make the best music imo. But I will continue to compare because that’s how I make sense of that group and other groups. Clearly they are different from everyone and clearly they have their own things going on but at the end of the day. They are a kpop group and there are hundreds of K-pop groups. Therefore comparisons will be made. I’m never disrespectful about these comparisons and saying u won’t like a video purely because one is made just doesn’t make sense to me, especially because I gas up Ateez a lot and like them a ton lmfao

    • @wommytiny9691
      @wommytiny9691 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @xKuRupTx If you sum up all the pieces, yes, I think Ateez is more talented. But to be honest, it's the fandom that ruined it for me. They've attacked atz and atinys in so many ways. Kingdom was very traumatic for all of us. I actually discovered them at about the same time. And I want to make it clear, I respect the difference in opinion.
