Seeing the old artwork for Animated Bumblebee, I notice the particular design of the feet have been replicated faithfully on the new figure, even without the front bumper forming the toes like usual.
Even though transformer figures have gotten smaller they have gotten more solididty to them compared to some of the older figures. And size classes don't really matter anymore when they're more focused on size comparison to each other.

Yeah, they could've just used a yellow piece of plastic and painted the windows black. It would look a lot better since there wouldn't be any robot parts showing through the windows, too.

yep, prices keep going up as the figures keep getting smaller and collectors will keep buying them up and say, 'well golly gee at least we have a figure of them'
I don’t really mind it but there has been numerous occasions where I’ve looked at my shelf and just saw all my deluxes and stuff and just couldn’t comprehend how they’re all the same size class 😭
Honestly the thing i like the most about this figure is the hinge that becomes the spoiler. Overall it's a really fun figure but this little detail is just supoer cool to me
I think they could reuse the mold with a more G1 headsculpt and maybe solid chest/windshield for gen selects or buzzworthy bumblebee and wouldn’t be a surprise
There's someone on the Transformers subreddit who did a really good job customizing Legacy Bulkhead to look more like his Animated counterpart. Granted, given the toy's proportions it looks like a really ripped version of Animated Bulkhead. lol
Animated introduced me into Transformers when I was 4. And yes, Bee is my most favorite character in this show. Now I'm 20 and I need to get this guy ASAP😅.
Just got this figure today. I owned the original Animated Bumblebee toy back in 2008 (I was 10 at the time), but it's been so long since I handled that figure, so I can't do a direct comparison between that toy and the Legacy toy. The Legacy toy is pretty good IMO. Compared to Animated Prowl's figure, I feel like Bee is more consistently enjoyable as a whole. The robot mode for Prowl was great, but the alt mode was pretty whack (mostly due to the end of the bike not connecting tightly). For Bumblebee, everything feels like it goes into place pretty well. The only thing about this toy that I would've liked is if the stingers were more integrated into Bee's arms like the original toy rather than being separate pieces like they are in this figure. Beyond that, I really like Legacy Animated Bumblebee. I should be getting my Legacy Animated Optimus soon, so if he's more like Bumblebee than Prowl, I'm in for a treat since I never owned the original Voyager Earth mode Animated Optimus toy.
I got this figure, as my first legacy united figure, as 1 of my xmas gifts, and this guy was a pain in the butt to transform for the first time without your video to help me 😅😂
I'm happy that Best Bumblebee has a new figure out, I'll definitely be picking him (and Optimus) up. I'll buy anything Animated relevant that Hasbro feels like putting out (Animated Megatron commander class when, Hasbro?)
Honestly this one loses a lot of the charm of Animated Bee by shrinking his head so much.. it's the most significant factor to separate him from other Bees and he just doesn't have it.

Honestly maybe they should have recycled the engineering from the original Animated figure, released it as a Core class, and it may have worked. or at the very least included Sari with this thing.. or painted rockets..
I don’t want to ruin things for you, but Chris Chan pretty much plagiarized this entire review with his “bumba-lumba” except now it has his cringe in it. It was hard to get through.
Really don't like the head sculpt because it isn't g1-ified at all. The style of the head clashes with the G1-ified body so it looks really wierd to me. They did a better job with the head sculpts for Prowl and Optimus. I really liked Bulkhead in TFA and TFP and I really like his Legacy figure. I'm not convinced I need any of these TFA characters in my collection, and even then I'm not paying full price for this Bee.
Since animated bumblebee is out, we need other animated characters like Sari sumdac Ultra Magnus Ratchet Rodimus Lugnut Blitzwing Warpath Red Alert Cliffjumper And omega supreme
There's not even a listing for Animated Bulkhead or Ratchet, so I wouldn't get too optimistic. Chances are, they're not gonna do a whole lot more Animated with the remainder of Legacy.

That's the thing with Classes nowadays, it's no longer about size rather it's about the engineering and parts count. Major examples of this are some of the modern Leader class figures which are just voyagers with extra accessories

@@EL-uj1pl Because Override despite being Deluxe size has the engineering of a Voyager. It's the same case with SS86 Ironhide, the Voyager engineering on SS86 becomes more of an impact when you compare it to Earthrise Ironhide

I'd argue that given the alt mode, Legacy Bulkhead works WAY better as an Animated Bulkhead than a Prime one

Since they've recently made a precedent for triple changing Megatrons who never made it to the screen, imagine if they finally did season 4 Megatron.
