The live version is worth checking out, better then the studio version imo
Yesterday, March 27, 2024, Buckethead produced their 656th album. He is the most prolific, talented and modest musician alive. I personally listened to the entire discography and I can confirm that he does not sing with his voice but only on the guitar and wears a mask and bucket all the time. Almost no one knows what it looks like in reality. He gave only three short interviews in his entire career. I recommend Animal Behavior, Siege Engine, Interworld and the New Innocence, etc. And me i'm fan of Jimi Hendrix. Thank you for the post and the great reactions.
Thanks for reacting to this masterpiece! Buckethead's catalog is unbelievably huge and diverse. True musical genius. About the length of his songs, he's done many that are much longer than this, 15 minutes, 18 minutes, and even well over 20 minutes long. Obviously, when you're going that long it's a challenge to keep it interesting, but personally, if something sounds great to me, the longer the better.
I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with those who've claimed his live versions are better. When he does live performances he always improvises a lot and abbreviates the songs, which is understandable, but they're never going to sound as polished and complete as the studio track. I do, however, agree that it will be well worth your time to check out some of his live performances though just to see the man in action. He's unlike any other musician with a style all his own. It will probably be something akin to watching the Danny Carey drum cam version of Pneuma where you can sit back and marvel at his superhuman abilities. One of my favorites is his "Gory Head Stump 6/21/2016 San Diego, CA" performance. You can find it on TH-cam.
Thank you again for making this recommendation man, I truly enjoyed it. And I would love to check out one of his live performances. His guitar playing was extraordinary.
@@anksreacts Glad you enjoyed it, I thought you would! Here's the link to that live performance I mentioned above: th-cam.com/video/l9MDwP59YJ4/w-d-xo.html. I'm sure you'll enjoy this one a lot too!
I agree with a 100% with ybut I am a guitar player I guess I wouldn't say that a bucket head was here but being a Guitar player I appreciate everything he does
Would you question Mozart?
@@johnschultz7633 I have no idea what point you're trying to make.
Dude, I felt it exact the same way like you when I first heard this 🤣
WELCOME TO BUCKETHEADLAND!!!!
Love this brother!
Love your energy, dude!
I envy those who hear this song for the first time... Ahhhhh.. your reaction reminds me of how I felt the first time I heard this masterpiece.☺️🤟
The guys got 348 albums. Unbelievable!
That is unbelievable. Which Leads me to believe that he’s been around for a while then. That’s very impressive. He must be a Musician, musician I bet.
Bro , look up " Buckethead - One of the best, most emotional versions of Soothsayer Live @ Gothic 9-28-2012 " , absolutely the best version of this song
You gotta listen to more of his insanely amazing songs! Some suggestions would be Night of the slunk, Pikes 65, Coats of claude, project little man, The rising sun
Masterpiece!!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
The guitar work is just phenomenal!
Amazing brother!!! My son and I Absolutely love buckethead so this coming from one of our favorite reactors was a true treat for us! Thanks brother 🤙🤙
I also have a special request, so throughout my life time I’ve been through so many ups and downs. It’s like one big roller coaster sometimes. Dealing with depression is not easy, and when you have a family, it’s hard for them to understand but I’m 40 years old, I have a beautiful family, nice house, I’m a real estate agent but sometimes/ most of the time I’m just very sad, have had so many devastating things happen in my life so now I suffer from PTSD and major depression. Some days are good and some are truly scary for me, especially when I choose to be alone with my thoughts, it’s like nothing matters anymore. Well this song saves my life every time I get like that cause it I know that I’m not alone and it’s a very relatable song to a lot of people.
It’s the LIVE version of the band STAIND performing “Something To Remind you”
Hope you can give a listen, thanks again man and sorry for getting too personal brotha.
Hey brother, nothing to apologize for. I appreciate you sharing that with me, it just goes to show that even though we may feel like it from time to time, we are not alone. We’re all connected to something bigger and greater than us. I would love to listen to that song, so expect that video soon. A big hug and my love to you bro. And give my regards to your son!
@@anksreacts Thank you so much brother for understanding, that’s so kind of you to say and I really do appreciate it man🙏
@@anksreacts What’s up brother! Hope all is well, looking forward to that special reaction,
Cheers brotha 🤙
Welcome to everyone’s favourite guitarist’s favourite guitarist!
If you would like to try listening and reacting to something other people haven’t done yet, you might try listening to the track Glacier. Can provide more recommendations if that one tickles your fancy.

❤
Dunno how I missed this but for whatever reason the guitar in this reminded me of something off genre to check out; Infected Mushroom- Heavyweight... Also Steve Vai- For the Love of God, SRV- Texas Flood Live...
Funny you mention Red hot Chilli peppers, Buckethead auditioned to them back in the 90's and they Said some funny stuff about him.
Lol you also mention black sabbath. He also tried out for ozzy osborne the lead singer of sabbath.
LiVe Version!!!
More BH please! Also, like many have said, check out this in the live version entitled Buckethead - One of the best, most emotional versions of Soothsayer Live @ Gothic 9-28-2012 "
Hey I’ll definitely check out that performance. But also do you have any other song of his that you personally love? I’d love to expand.
@@anksreacts crumple part 2
You and I listen to music very similarly. We understand.
buckethead es como el nuevo sonido que Hendrix estaba buscando antes de morir.
For something soulful and funky try
Genesis Owuza - waitin on ya
I’ll add that to the list bro.
Yeah, I had to stop ranking TOOL as bands I like because they are the only one in their category. My top favorite bands in no particular order are like, Metallica, Slipknot, SOAD, Animals As Leaders, Korn, Killswitch Engage, DevilDriver, Avenged Sevenfold, all A tier but TOOL is alone in S tier. I don't even compare A perfect circle or Puscifur to TOOL because NO! Looking forward to Undertow journey. Spiral Out
Add polyphia and Steve Vai and you’re my brother from another mother lol
Try mr bungle - sudden death
Coming up soon man! Just got done with it
@@anksreacts nice! I’ve been asking a lot of reactors to try and you’re the first. They have a lot of other types of music too. every album is crazy in a different way and genre bending. Thanks bro
