This video was awesome and really helped me a lot. For a long ass time I thought that making those adorable little hats was super complicated and this really answered all my questions! The printable templates were very helpful too, thanks so much!
So cute! I am going to try my hand at this for my daughters to wear to a pageant this summer. Our theme of course will be patriotic. :) Can hardly wait to get started. EEKK! Thanks so much for sharing!
Cool video, worked so well but I had problems with keeping the clips clipped onto my hair .You mentioned you can use a comb so I'd thought I should try that... But how would you attach one?
HI! What I would do is make little loops out of ribbon or ealstic thread, glue those to the hat, then thread the comb through the loops to keep it attached. - Angel
Thank you for the tutorial and pattern :) I have a question and I would be very happy if you could help me( or anyone else here) I want to make the sew version and I don't know how to sew the top. If I do it by hand it's easier because I can hold it upright, but I want to use my machine and I read your tutorial on your website. The top and the wall of the hat will become like a tube but I need to know-even if it's a bit of a hassle-how do I sew the top which is a circle on the rectangular/arch shape of the wall? I hope I explained it alright. At first I made the wall with the sides sewed and tried attaching the top but still I can't on the machine, just by hand. Please help me if it's possible. Any tip would be welcomed.
Is that black felt you covered it with? Or some kind of patterned card stock? Also what kind of card stock should this be printed on? There are so many at the craft store I don't know what to get.
This hat is adorable and thank you for the free patterns. I can't wait to try one.
I bought this gorgeous fabric at joanns and I'm gonna make one of these. It's going to be on my ciel phantomhive cosplay! So excited!!!!

It must be sewn by hand- not sure if it's possible to do on a machine.

It's fleece - but felt will work as well. :) Thanks for watching.
Oh okay, I'm only use to seeing the fluffy thick fleece, like in blankets. I haven't seen thin fleece before.
perfect. i am going to try this!
