The Kraken played pretty well and lost. I don't mind it as much as I should, I guess. They gave it an effort. Gourde had a really good game, Kartye too. GO KRAKEN!
There are some names of free agents I would love to see the Kraken pursue this off-season. D Brady Skjei, F Teavo Teravainen, F Matt Duchene, or F Patrick Kane (provided he doesn't retire) the last one is still a great setup and finisher but is cheap due to his time in the NHL. His career is winding down that's for sure. But we DESPERATELY need a Finisher and a Offensive D man. Justin Schultz is NOT that man. Plus with all the Players the kraken will be losing due to 1 year Contracts Yamamoto, Bellmare, and Tatar. Getting one Forward and one d Man still gives a shot to the youngsters to be promoted from the AHL. Grubauer is still signed for another 3 if I'm not mistaken and Daccord can be resigned too. So despite my gripping on Grubauer this year unless we draft a once in a lifetime goalie like a Patrick Roy or something like that I highly doubt the Kraken will be getting a big name guys in net. What do you guys think?
We'll have to see who all gets resigned after this season before free agency. I don't think it's likely to be a big pool with the cap going up teams will have an easier time keeping guys around if they want to.

Yeah ultimately the Jets are a better team so to come close on the road is respectable
