    Hey. Thanks for this video. Do you recommend creating multiple images for a single blog post? Then pinning each image to the same boards. Does that question make sense? So, if I have 5 images all linking to one blog I would be pinning all 5 images to the same board and various dates/times. Thanks so much!

    • @premiumcareconnect5058

      You can create 5 Pins Per Post
      . This is a great way to avoid duplicate content. Also, it's another way to have more content to post without duplicating. Creating 5 pins for every blog post article (or landing page) that you have ensures that you have plenty of content to share before having to duplicate posts.
      It's also a great way to test out which type of content performs best on Pinterest.

    Hi, I have a question that I haven't been able to find the answer to:
    I know you can have a 'dummy' image with nopin attribute that links to another image to pin in it's place. Is it ok to link to an image that is not on your sites domain? For example, could I create a pin first by uploading directly to Pinterest, then link my sites 'dummy' image to the image on Pinterest? Will this hurt my account in any way (or even work at all)?
    Thank you

    I watched a bunch of videos recently and I can't remember which one but I thought it was this one. I could be wrong! If it is though, I heard that "shared counts- pinterest image" was recommended as a plugin on wordpress so that the FIRST pinterest post shared from my blog is directly from the blog and has a designated image that I designed specifically per post. I downloaded it and it hasn't been working for my page and I am not getting support anywhere. If this was the wrong video, you can ignore me, I gotta go find where I learned this and ask them if there's another plugin option!

  • @anypercentdeathless
    @anypercentdeathless 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Great video. It's especially helpful to hear about other people's pinning numbers and ratios.
    QUESTION: I've been searching for-and failing to find-info about how important it is to pin from other people's websites. E.g. does this count as pinning a "fresh pin"? Do people strategize over and spend time collecting other people's content FROM OUTSIDE PINTEREST? Obviously it's most important to create and pin your own content, and obviously it's very easy to simply "re-pin" straight from other people's Pinterest boards, the Pinterest feed, etc. But what about the importance of finding new content from other websites? (Was I rambling? I hope my question's clear. THANK YOU.)

    • @CathrinManning
      @CathrinManning  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s a very good question! So Pinterest does really enjoy those “fresh pins”. And you may notice that on the days you share pins directly from your website, you may receive an increase in your impressions. BUT that can take a long time to find good articles to pin on Pinterest outside of the platform. So for me, I only create those “fresh pins” from my own website. I only repin other people’s articles. But I’ll have to do some research and see if it is beneficial. I don’t think it would be. I think you would just be helping the person that the pin leads to. But I’m not 100% sure!

      You should try to move to not duplicating within 6 months as you create more posts. That is to say, once you have pinned a pin in every relevant board you must wait at least 4 months before repinning the same pin. It's important to bear in mind that;
      New Content = New Pin Image + New Board
      Pins linking to the same blog post should not go in the same board in a single day.

    Is there any benefit to having a Pinterest account if I'm a youtuber only? I don't have a blog. Wait...should I have a blog?

      I've never had a problem with this in the past and I've sometimes pinned up to 50 pins a day! But the trick is to work with companies that are Pinterest verified. If you are working with pin automators that aren't verified by Pinterest, Pinterest obviously isn't going to like you! Tailwind is always a safe bet.

      I actually spend 2 hours every 2 weeks to schedule my pins for 2 weeks (usually I do this every other Sunday). Hope that helps
