    Every time I visit Rochdale it feel like a step back into the 1970s. I loved the old bus station. I was lucky to take photos of the inside of the old bus station and car park months before it was demolished.

    Used to get the 471 from Heywood to the pictures every weekend as a kid. 12p on the bus and a pound in the pictures. EEE them were the days.. Even had a private gig from Bruce Springsteen in the bus station after. Is he still knocking about?
    I remember when the Little Gems first started coming on our estate. You could stop them anywhere on route so no more running for the bus stop when you saw one coming. Think they changed to Bu-Val over the next few years.

      No clue who he was but I remember the lad you're on about. I saw him outside the ABC cinema while we were queuing to get in. In keeping with the video subject matter, I think his top deck had plenty of empty seats...

    There is something special about the GM standards, whether it's an Atlantean or Fleetline, no matter where in the GM area you lived. You where always going to get a reliable service
