After spending an extended amount of time this area, the game gets extremely laggy for me whenever I get here, and the only solutions I found were to: reload the map by going back down the elevator or slow down the game using the skills menu.
Sounds like you had all the bad luck playing this game, From what I've read the game has had a few updates from when it was first released, they did still miss a few but lucky for me nothing game breaking
