I feel like this could be an insanely cool buildup to a reveal of us, the trailblazer, having the ability to "change fate" or "go against the script". There's been lots of talk in game about destiny and how you can't change it, and it seems acheron has a similiar vibe, reluctantly attempting to force the player down an already determined path. It's pretty much stated that the way this story continues, will lead to a horrible outcome. She asks what we would do if we knew the awful outcome from the start, and then she blatently says that we "will face many tribulations and witness many tragedies, and finally.. our sight will only see black and white." But i think we as the trailblazer will be able to "trailblaze" our own path forward and create a different ending or outcome. As cringe as it may sound "rules are made to be broken" is literally a line we say in game all the time, and what better way to break rules, than to change destiny/fate.

". Doesn't that sound exactly like what happened in this video? Where you would make a choice and you arrived at a red dialogue.

She would be trying to get to the ending that the aeon wants regardless of her feelings, which could be why she cries at the beginning and in the music video. It’s really sus how she just changes an outcome, and Black Swan not reacting makes it even weirder.

This actually has a very important lore detail for Penacony and Acheron. Everything Acheron say in red text appears to become something people believe to be the Truth. As a result this explains why she was able to get a room in Penacony when she had to steal her invite because anything she said in Red becomes the Truth. So the Red Text is the Red Truth. This is a very familiar power people will know from a series called Umineko no Naku Koro. There is a lot of aspect in Penacony story that amde me realize that they are maybe goong for a Umineko theme storyline.
It's so funny reading comments six months ago, during the time people thought Acheron was either (based off comments I read): 1. An Emanator of Finality 2. An Emanator of Nihilty born from nothiness For one, she's only presumed to be an Emanator of Finality, but other characters also thought she was for the Hunt. She's actually an Emanator of Nihility who is managing to survive the effects of being a Self-Annihilator which I will shortly explain in the next answer. Two, an Emanator of Nihility is not born from nothiness. IX the Nihility does not act and the creation of Emanators of Nihility occurs in a completely opposite manner compared to other aeons: When you truly believe there is no meaning, you then step into IX's shadow and you become a Self-Annihilator. Those who can live through those effects (as a Self-Annihilator, aspects of your existence will fade until you cease existing. Some have experienced their physical features deteriorating, and Acheron herself experiences it as the perpetual loss of her memories and her severely weakened ability to taste anything, hence why she can drink things that are extremely bitter and that extremely spicy fruit she eats in her idle animations like it does nothing) are then Emanators of Nihility, as in Acheron's case.

Now that I have finished the story. I don't think Acheron meant any harm to MC, in fact she cares for him. The red dialogue seems to represent something that must happen, and is something that Acheron herself is powerless against (out of her own will). Acheron's role as Finality is to make sure everything follows exactly as the script. Just like Aeons having their own principles and path that they must abide to. This is probably the reason why she stole the invitation and come to Penacony. To oversee the predetermined events (the impact of the current storyline is probably very important to the future, just like the convergence point in Stein's Gate). Sadly, we might have to keep rejecting her in future dialogue options. And eventually, we are likely forced to fight against her. Even without Black Swan setting things up, the Stellaron hunters are pretty much her enemies, since they too seek to change the outcome / future. The initial meeting with Acheron, is probably some form of message that she wished to pass onto MC. She never wanted the bad ending, and the only one that who can change their fate is MC (who holds the Stellaron). Stellaron might not be the cancer as the story portrayed. They possessed powers to create miracles and change fate. Just like how it turned Jarilo into an ice world, to save the people from the legion (despite the cost). They are some sort of cheat code or bug, which directly opposite to Aeons which works like the mechanism of the universe. As for fragmentum, they probably represent the dark wishes of humanity for destruction and the lingering of unfinished will / desire of the dead. This shows that Stellaron have the power to turn humanity's desires and wishes into reality. Only that it is often used in the wrong way.

Apparently the world ending is a cycle. Swans faction or their aeon knows that and is the reason why its archiving everything.

hsr finality and hi3 finality are different they even used different characters for the word finality in hsr so having a kiana expy be an emanator of finality would be a fun nod to her hi3 counterpart but it wouldnt make sense

Now that I have finished the story. I don't think Acheron meant any harm to MC, in fact she cares for him. The red dialogue seems to represent something that must happen, and is something that Acheron herself is powerless against (out of her own will). Acheron's role as Finality is to make sure everything follows exactly as the script. Just like Aeons having their own principles and path that they must abide to.
This is probably the reason why she stole the invitation and come to Penacony. To oversee the predetermined events (the impact of the current storyline is probably very important to the future, just like the convergence point in Stein's Gate).
Sadly, we might have to keep rejecting her in future dialogue options. And eventually, we are likely forced to fight against her.
Even without Black Swan setting things up, the Stellaron hunters are pretty much her enemies, since they too seek to change the outcome / future.
The initial meeting with Acheron, is probably some form of message that she wished to pass onto MC. She never wanted the bad ending, and the only one that who can change their fate is MC (who holds the Stellaron).
Stellaron might not be the cancer as the story portrayed. They possessed powers to create miracles and change fate. Just like how it turned Jarilo into an ice world, to save the people from the legion (despite the cost). They are some sort of cheat code or bug, which directly opposite to Aeons which works like the mechanism of the universe.
As for fragmentum, they probably represent the dark wishes of humanity for destruction and the lingering of unfinished will / desire of the dead. This shows that Stellaron have the power to turn humanity's desires and wishes into reality. Only that it is often used in the wrong way.
