Showing my age, but searched for this in the remote hope me, or my brother Dave, would appear, as we made many trips to the south bank 'bowl' from about 1975 onwards. Sadly no appearance...I do note, however, that the concrete is un'tagged' in these shots, we had respect for our few skate arenas back then - 'why those pesky skaters of today...' A lovely G&S Fibreflex bowlrider 26" with Cally Slaloms and Kryptonic 70mm Reds still sits in my parents garage, almost as new, waiting for my courage to resurface...It will, it will.
Do it Steve, what's holding you back? I just learnt to drop in (strictly street back in the day) and it's been a revelation. So many parks to choose from these days and if you go during school hours you'll find lots of old men shredding!
How absorbing and informative. We make hires gopro walks of contemporary London on youtube (no ads just to show how London is now) so it's great for us to see the comparison. London is still pretty spectacular. Thank you for adding it, we've subscribed.
Loved life there 1977…punk rock , reggae and now I’m fekkn 60! Still riding
