    Thanks Raf. That Psalter looks beautiful. Since I am in a parish that uses the HTM Psalter of the 70, I find it much easier to just use the same translation. We have tried to use other Psalters as well, but we end up struggling with the differences in the translations. That being said, I may break down and buy one of these.

    I love Fr Silviu, but I’ll always be an Ephraim Lash fanatic. His translations are almost always my favorite.

    I am glad for the new review. My daughter's having the same troubles. We've memorized the psalter in so many forms we're getting confused.
    The Coverdale
    The KJV (sept)
    The Douay-Rheims (if you're learning Latin)
    The EOB psalms (which has a ton of notes like this)
    Those are just the ones she's memorized in. Then I've got every other Translation in my head.

    The translation doesn't seem to really flow poetically very well from the examples you gave and I think that is not a good thing for a psalm for prayer but it is nice to have a translation of psalter from Mount Athos.
