As cast live on Twitch, I jumped in with Kimbo at the last second (I improve his audio on the fly as the cast progresses). This game is a slow burner, it's primarily worth watching for a fantastic last half an hour of VP struggle which is very intense.
I'm sure I'm not the only one ever slightly triggered whenever a kingtiger gets the veterancy to use spearhead and the player doesn't use it. Especially on narrow, straightforward maps
Can anyone explain to me why the Axis decided to invest in heavy tanks in the lategame, knowing that their opponents had an edge in armor numbers and better army manuverability?
Axis pros are good but have some old style of playnig they think they can still pierce allies armor without any problem when elephant is on the field but u know time changes even double jackson are hell of problem for axis now
Because that ISU won't be killed by anything else. Ost player has nothing reliable to counter it other than Elefant. And at that stage of game there is more mines than there is units, so any push with Panthers isn't going to work on these narrow maps (Orange tried it and didn't even made it till left VP before he hit a mine). Not to mention how unreliable Panther is on the move. So you have to push with brute force, and KT is good at that. I think one or two muni caches would help, KT could spam that arty and HEAT rounds, so they could buy themself more time.
why don't king tiger players ever use the spearhead? are there penalties to the spearhead ability beyond the fact that your turret cannot traverse fully around? i mean who wants that anyway, the turret turns slower than the tank can rotate. i'd rather have it locked forward, gain the massive sight bonus, and possibly faster ROF?
Perimeter overwatch; the ability that lasts absurdly too long and dramatically overshadows the axis counterpart which of itself only lasts around twenty to thirty seconds give or take and ONLY covers three or so sectors in an area... Yeah it's likes these two abilities were half done
That Vet 3 zist bane of axis.Many squads got wiped but allies did excellent job keeping it alive.why because often in late game axis lack infantry core and relies on heavies and 3 engineers for repair only thing that can stand between paper thin armour tank of allies and steel of Germany is vet AT guns.notice that axis lost its ATs .ATs can become deciding factor.
OMG Orange and Baron could have easily finished the allies off the moment they got both super heavies and then onwards until about minute 40-41. But they never pushed, so they lost. Most common mistake, to be too afraid to make a decisive push.
No where is the name of the game mentioned.... Not in the title, not in the description, nor in the intro of the video. WTF is this game? And how are you not bothered to mention it anywhere?
@@devin7161 I could do those things yes. But I can't be bothered. Thanks for telling me what game it is. Although I think it's up to the maker of the video to provide information that makes it understandable what I am watching. It's just criticism in the form of questions.
tkitsz to be honest, this is a niche channel with thousands of videos on this single game. Virtually no one “stumbles” in who doesn’t know him and the game. So I don’t think he bothers posting “this is company of heroes 2.” in every video since it would just be redundant. But I’m sorry to hear it was confusing for you!

And personally I don't even care. But I assume he does. He has this channel with a game that he likes, and that he likes showing to other people. Good for him, I wish I had a passion like that. But I think you do that better if you provide just a tiny bit of info for those 2 new people that come to watch his video's. Hell maybe 1 will even stick around. So you can keep replying and defending him. But I'm not attacking.... I just want him to be aware what the experience is of a person who has never seen his channel nor this game. What he or anybody else does with that info is for them to decide. And just to clarify: I know so little of this game that I don't know exactly what word in the title is supposed to be the name of the tournament. Cracking 2v2 war could be just the map. I assume you don't just play 1 map the whole tournament. Take T90 Official's channel for example. Only does Age of Empires 2 game casting. But it is always clear what the video is about (although sometimes clickbait titles). And his channel is still growing. Maybe there is something to learn there. And if there is not, that is totally fine too... No hard feelings. And no need to reply.... Thanks
