    A very underrated channel. I'm pretty deep into a cb360 build and now I'm thinking I might go bare metal tank! (Already have a bare metal headlight) Keep up the good work man

      Go for it! You can always paint it again later... I would consider it on my CB360 if the tank was in better shape. Cheers!

    Hi. Really dig ur video's. Just binged 13 video's lol. When u where doing the pipes from a side view looked just like a bonnyville. I have a chance to buy 2 identical 750 yamahas ,been in the guys back yard for a while looks like covered in tarps 1980's looks like xs . for 500 bucks for both Canadian. No papers and no keys He said the tanks are in the garage. This guy has all kinds of bikes , but seems to buy them but doesn't do anything with them . I'm out here in B.C. What is your opinion please. Is it hard to find parts, even though i have 2 identical bikes ..thanks .

    I like the videos! I subscribed. What jets did you end up with for the best performance with the exhaust and pod filters?

    • @Beachmangarage
      @Beachmangarage  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank! So far I'm running an 80 and a 132.5 (if I remember correctly) on the original cm400 carbs. A bit of a mis-mash but it gets the best results

    I believe your bike is a 1982 Honda CM450C. That is what I have and it appears identical. You may look up some pictures and specs but I'm almost positive. Cool bike looks good.

      Thanks man! The frame is a 79, but yeah, they used it for a number of years. The engine is an '84 450 I believe

    Like the tank! Love that raw metal look, yes definitely clear coat it! And thanks for clarifying the ( Let's go get so stripper!) I was almost expecting some pole dancing! Lol!

      Thanks Wayne! Yesterday I did a really light coat of black on it and then wiped it with acetone, it gave the scuffs a little more oomph and the emblem now has some silver shining through on the edges. Looks badass! I'll try to get a good shot on the next vid....

    Did you video that? That would have bad ass!

    • @Beachmangarage
      @Beachmangarage  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      None of the process... it would literally be watching paint dry :) There's definitely more tank work in the next vid... just found a leak(s)!

    I never suggest paints especially were so much of the bike is really about structures, in this case the frame. It being so monochromatic as it is, any finish will have to be carried to other area's to lend any continuity to the scheme.

    Who are you using for your jet replacement?

    • @Beachmangarage
      @Beachmangarage  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I bought a kit from these guys... www.6sigmajetkit.com/jet-kits.html . Comes with instructions on other modding for the carbs as well. I just used the jets.

      Combustion Junction. it is so different! I love it. I do want to make some modifications. Shocks upgrade and seat adjustment. I like to ride and i think it is just meant to be for show😁as it is.
