I believe the pyke was referring to the moving part of his ult. As the tower killed zac he stayed in place and died. He is still wrong as tilterella did nothing, but is not about the kill.
Brother he was not talking about the reset pls don't make up words, Zac's passive - Zilean R ETC.... it will make him only teleport with no reset (I'm Pyke main).
The problem is that the higher elo you go the more full of themselves people get. High plat/low diamond people think they are the creme de la creme and can boss people around. They start looking at others instead of themselves which boosts their ego even more and it just becomes a never ending loop of assholery. Great video as always Tilt!
As a Pyke main I can say that he would not have traveled to Zac. So regardless he was dead, the ult was placed before Zac died so it would have counted on a normal opponent but since Zac has this blob phase it doesn't count as a kill and thus doesn't reset or make him travel.

Usually pyke if the X hits blinks to the target hit, it even has a window of failure where if u ult slightly late as pyke it will still connect and blink even if he doesn't get the kill. But due to zacs res the window a failure doesn't exist because it makes him invulnerable, same with any other res that makes the target invulnerable such as stopwatch interactions (aniv and Renata W still get hit) Not balming u, u can't be psychic but from pykes pov I can see where his coming from. Just because ur right doesn't necessarily mean pykes wrong. Just telling u the interactions cuz I know pyke is popular and it's good to know. (also side note due to zacs passive res counting as essentially minions pyke can't blink to them, one of the reasons zac destroys pyke cuz pyke can't EVER reset off of zac if he has passive up)

Even if the tower didn't hit pykes damage would have gone thorugh before mine. WIth that being said I am not trusting pyke to kill zac i'm trying to murder zac every time in that situation.
9:50 having the cross on them when they die is enough for the reset and gold (though slightly different with how the gold works) but apparently triggering zac passive doesn't count as him dying (makes sense). I have played maybe 10-15 games of pyke total and am silver so he should really know this.
10:00 pretty sure you dont get reset for zacs passive. and someone else getting the kill still has a 0.5 sec window of giving reset, afaik just the gold was removed

As far as I know a Pyke gets a reset (and gold) when a target within the cross dies, no matter of what cause. He does not have do be the Killer. BUT he only jumps to the cross, when he hits a target with the ult dmg. This happens allways, no reset/dead enemy needed. IN THIS CASE a living Zac would have bin a target he could have jumped to, BUT the tower made the final blow before his ult dmg could hit Zac. Because of the Zac passive he would have never gotten a reset here. He also cannot have hit him, because that would have made him jumping to that position. I would say, when he was running around close to the other 3 enemys (wasting time), he was waiting for Zac to get low. He greeded for an impossible kill. Could have been ulting sooner for a saver way out, but the greed was to strong.
9:50 it didn't matter of pyke got the kill or not, so long as they are in the "X" when they die pykes ult resets, also for Champs with a self revive mechanic like sion, Zac, and anivia, pyke ulting them to trigger their passive does NOT reset the cooldown of pykes ult, even if they were in the "X" cause they technically didn't die. I found this out when I played as pyke in aram against a Zac and I never got a reset when his passive triggered. also if Zac was in pykes ult in this clip pyke would have teleported to the center of the "X" but he didn't meaning he missed his ult, so all the information I just said before this was redundant and unnecessary as it didn't apply to this case

i do the exact same thing when pinging because we all tunnel super hard in this game and a single ping is not heard, you have to spam to the point of annoyance.
If u kill a zac with his passive up it doesnt give any resets, same with anivia and etc. Also even if it did give them he would get it after landing it on someone that was alive during cast, but died before the channel ended
Pyke gets a reset when the champion has the HP value to trigger that reset and his ult connects. Like if he ulted tryndamere or kindred with their feign death ults. He will reset again and again just as long as the skill shot connects.
clean game! you probably know this but u can wait just before end to click where u want to land so they cant see circle where u gonna land when useing that teleport shit. GGWP

Zacs passive doesnt count as a kill so he wouldnt get a reset if it triggered it but he would have dashed to him at least. also bonus fun fact if pyke ults the center where the zac blobs reform as the last blob dies he gets the ult reset and gold. timing is pretty tough though.

he wouldnt get the reset on zac but i dont think thats what he meant. he meant hte dashing part. zac died to turret due to your previously dealt w dmg which means he didnt dash back in turret. his r wouldnt reset but he would have escaped, i think thats what he meant
I've played plenty of Pyke and i can tell what happened in that clip. Pyke R always teleports him to his targeted enemy champion, regardless of whether it executes the target or not. I am guessing that executing Zac was not really his intention on that clip but rather his planned escape route upon ulting Seraphine. And since Pyke didn't get teleported upon using R, it meant that Zac already managed to "die" before his ult lands.
On top of that, zac died in 5 tower shots, with the 4th one dealing a larger percentage of his max health, than he had left for the fifth tower shot, tilt's first hit of w clipped him, but didn't actually matter in the log run, cause he was a dead man walking as is. The pyke going back in and trying to ult someone who was already dead and blaming someone else was entirely his own fault.
I usually ping the path first then spam ping on the edge of their screen in the direction the gank is coming from. Never spam ping on top of the person because it communicates your idea very poorly, specially if they are fighting they will just assume you are telling them they lose the 1v1 and trust me they will not care a single bit about your opinion on that so they will get annoyed, ignore you and mute you
As others have said anything that goes revive would not reset pyke r. GA, anivia, zac. I have not tried against karthus and sion. Second thing is damage dealt by pyke is always low even if he carried hard.
Also before I forget you should put some time in on pyke. He's kinda in your wheel house all about positioning and out plays. His tempos a little weird you go hard early then start pulling back and playing more and more careful mid and late but I think you could do alot of work with the champ. You have a unique way of doing things that would be very advantageous with him.
tbh, i actually agree with pyke's frustration during that 2v3 bot jg around 6:30. kayle already used R so he couldnt have blocked it and that couldve been double kill if not still a single kill with pyke possibly surviving if u used R on kayle which would also prevent kayle stacking her rune which u mentioned. u had W, E, R which shouldve been good enough dmg not to mention W and R are aoe too

Having to go back 3X as a mid is frustrating... but if you play mid, that's just the game. You're at the center of the map. I don't know how people tilt so easily after years of knowing that that's just how the game goes sometimes.
even if the opponent dies be somebody else while the opponent is in the x, pyke would still tp to the opponent and get a reset on his ult. but the opponent didn't die becaase of zac passive so he didn't tp
The experience boost you got from the dragon didn't actually matter if you replay the clip. You would have gotten the level up just the same had you simply stayed in lane. The dragon roam was inconsequential imo.
maybe, maybe not. if i'm in lane that might scare kayle away costing me the kill, we won't ever know. But what I do know is a lot of people will learn from the example.
7:20 Am I the only one who hates it when my teammates ping enemy missing for something like this? Like no shit there's an enemy missing. I saw the little icon moving upriver and disappearing into the jungle on the minimap. I know he's coming. Thanks for pointing out the obvious. I don't need the distraction.
why are people talking about the pyke ulting the Zac and not that he flashed after kill Kayle with his ult to then mess up his pathing even more as he not sure to use ult on Zac or run threw river. This is why you don't E in to then use your ult as why you can make the trail longer and stun people on the landing . . .ok you now have 4 enemy surrounding you but you did stun 1 now what. . . having a E or Flash to get out knowing this was a selfish R to just get a kill to make his KD/A look better.

Pyke can execute the zac passive but if u r on the living zac before the passive is gone it wont reset.
Been using porofessor for a while, it really comes in handy.
Pyke`s ultimate DOES NOT resets for Zac's passive, same goes for Zilean`s ultimate, Renata`s W and guardian angel

Zac is the worst to try and reset. You have to make sure his passive is down

For the pyke reset it doesn’t work on sec if he has his passive up, but it does also work on assists that happen inside the x.

Pyke gets a reset even if you killed Zac while Pyke was airborne. Zac didn't die because of his passive, so Pyke didn't get a reset.

Having to go back 3X as a mid is frustrating... but if you play mid, that's just the game. You're at the center of the map. I don't know how people tilt so easily after years of knowing that that's just how the game goes sometimes.
9:58 if Pyke hit Zac he would have tp'ed to it but he didnt hit him (either missed his R or Zac died before Pyke hit him)
even if the opponent dies be somebody else while the opponent is in the x, pyke would still tp to the opponent and get a reset on his ult.
but the opponent didn't die becaase of zac passive so he didn't tp

The experience boost you got from the dragon didn't actually matter if you replay the clip. You would have gotten the level up just the same had you simply stayed in lane. The dragon roam was inconsequential imo.
maybe, maybe not. if i'm in lane that might scare kayle away costing me the kill, we won't ever know. But what I do know is a lot of people will learn from the example.
7:20 Am I the only one who hates it when my teammates ping enemy missing for something like this? Like no shit there's an enemy missing. I saw the little icon moving upriver and disappearing into the jungle on the minimap. I know he's coming. Thanks for pointing out the obvious. I don't need the distraction.

why are people talking about the pyke ulting the Zac
and not that he flashed after kill Kayle with his ult to then mess up his pathing even more as he not sure to use ult on Zac or run threw river.
This is why you don't E in to then use your ult as why you can make the trail longer and stun people on the landing . . .ok you now have 4 enemy surrounding you but you did stun 1 now what. . . having a E or Flash to get out knowing this was a selfish R to just get a kill to make his KD/A look better.
