The Righteous Brothers and several other old-time artists made music referred to as "panty droppers" for a reason and the lack of this type of music today is a major reason the birth rate has fallen. There's nothing romantic or seductive about a hip-hop artist (?) or rapper cursing and going on about "rape the bitches" and such like.
This is an older song recorded by other folks before and since. I love this version from the RB, with Bill on lead. They wrote some stuff, but hit songwriters Mann and Weil wrote their two biggest hits, That Lovin Feeling and Soul and Inspiration.
That's some Delta Blues ...a Muddy Waters song. Glen Campbell on guitar. The Righteous Brothers sang a lot of blues numbers. ' B-flat Blues' 'Summertime', 'Harlem Shuffle' are some of them. Some of their hits are "Soul and Inspiration ". "Just Once in My Life" and Their last hit, "Rock and Roll Heaven"
Man do yourself a favor and listen to Summertime the live video of Ole Bobby ,shiiiiiit you tell me another man with that much Soul can do wtf he does on that stage???? Ill wait......man hes was out of body sangin on that bitch, instant goosebumps on goosebumps lol
That was the great Bill Medley singing. I had the great pleasure of seeing him in concert LAST WEEK! He’s still got it, even at 83. We gave him a standing ovation at the end of one song, This Will Be the Last Time (I Have the Blues), which he wrote couple of years ago. Great experience! Next, watch Night Time is the Right Time - th-cam.com/video/uM-4CUzpjJU/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared and Soul and Inspiration th-cam.com/video/cwTdRpYTS4c/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared. Your enthusiasm is gratifying to fans like me who go back in the day!
Plenty more great songs by these two that were Blues and R&B. Not all their performances were sweet love songs. Keep going and dive into more of those old Shindig Show videos. They had some crazy vocals, humor and dance moves. Always great entertainers. Loved this reaction! I think Glen Campbell was playing guitar and they all got their start on Shindig together.
Check out Summertime, sung by Bobby Hatfield. Hold on to your hat. 😊

Bobby, here’s my whole panty drawer!
The guys can really sing the blues. I would have loved to hear Ray Charles sing this song with them.

They were so professional probably both perfectionists and have style on top that! Great job reacting to this!
Blue eyed soul. ❤
'You've Lost That Loving Feeling", "Soul And Inspiration", "Ebb Tide", "Rock & Roll Heaven"......................Righteous indeed.

They have a live version of Unchained Melody from the 60s that’s crazy.
❤WOW❤

Maybe give a listen to Bobby Caldwell " what You Won't Do for Love" or Marc Broussard any song😊
With all due respect, those two are not even in the same league
