Otro muso inspirador, ese día lo disfruté todo el rato, es que a parte de la música, puta que entusiasma ver a la gente entusiasmada y engrupida con su momento de presentación.
I love his whole image. He's just this unassuming guy with mutton chops in a suit, looking like he's the best man at his college buddy's wedding, who found his way into the dj booth and started ripping out these incredible grooves and multilayered sounsdscapes. There is nobody out making music quite like this, and if somebody else started, they'd have a long way to go, because Daedelus has this shit down. You sir, are awesome.
In the beginning there was the Goddess. And She said "Let there be an eternal rave" and there IS an eternal rave. And then she created the Horned God. And the Horned God is a DJ and he channels the WHOLE COSMOS through a patch bay and cosmic energy going through turns into mind blowing music beyond your imagination and beyond that even. And the Goddess thinks YEEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHH! Respect Brother! One People One Love (MCLesRose23)
Saw him live last night at Bourbon Street in B-more. Best b-day gift ever X) Highly recommend going to his live shows whenever you can, you'll get your money's worth!!
He doesnt exactly need it that music blows your mind! Ive been to a few of his gigs without any naughty potions I didnt need them it was amazing! Ive met him a few times he's just as sane as I am!
@aaasamaaa Sir, errrm- you must be totally mistaken. I know there is the monomulator for APC40, but monome is more like an open-ended hardware with lots of dedicated apps. Whats more, APC40 is actually inspired from Robert Henke's mono-deck and turned into a generic ableton controller. Robert Henke openly calls the APC40 the commercial actualization of his monodeck idea. I think it was in the documentary 'Speaking in Code' by Amy something
@88GoodMusic I'm not sure of the song D is playing but the Smashing Pumpkins song is Tonight, Tonight from the Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness album.
@Drudkkh sadly my answer isn't easy, it's an unreleased track by Machinedrum, who has a lot of fantastic music available, but just not that piece as far as I know...
@peski73 I miscounted and got the wrong track! Actually if the Leeds party bus is anything to go by it goes one way and we would inevitably stop on Mars for a ciggy while we waited for the guy to fix the spaceship- I dont think anyone on Earth would really be up for it!
Erg. Monome and anything Akai makes is not comparable. That's like saying guitar hero owes money to fender for 'ripping on the idea'. The principle may be similar, but they weren't the first. The monome is not a 'dj' application. Alfred uses it in an MLR-similar application. Whereas most use the ACP40 is almost exclusively used through ableton as a clip launcher.
@skarootz Hang on why shouldnt he be dancing to his own music it proves he's put his soul into it innit and he got rhythm so its natural (I havent noticed the audience dancing so much in this video)
@peski73 I think the one you mean is "Make it So" but why not just invite him to play at this rave on Pluto so you'll get it anyway? And have a posse coming in a magic yellow party spaceship from Earth!
Hey, first off I'd like to say I really appreciate your music, thanks a lot! I was wondering which song you mixed together with Beirut - Elephant Gun at around 35:00 ? :)
@aaasamaaa Have you ever used an APC40? I wouldn't call it a copy cat at all. Merely a bridge off of an idea. They work completely differently, the APC has dedicated clip launch buttons, whereas the Monome is completely user-mapped. So copy cat? No, definitely not. Have you ever heard of a "Novation Launchpad"?
He's like Beethoven who went to our time. This guy's truly an artist (why did I only discover him just now)
15:50 - The Music Sounds Better With You - Stardust mixed w ?

The best 44 minutes of my life, hands down.

its called a monome. He does play old fashioned turntables too but you can do so muchmore with a monome and they're so much betterfor left-handed DJs.

@peski73 I miscounted and got the wrong track! Actually if the Leeds party bus is anything to go by it goes one way and we would inevitably stop on Mars for a ciggy while we waited for the guy to fix the spaceship- I dont think anyone on Earth would really be up for it!

@skarootz Hang on why shouldnt he be dancing to his own music it proves he's put his soul into it innit and he got rhythm so its natural (I havent noticed the audience dancing so much in this video)

He's at starscape festival tonight and I'm kinda mad cuz I'm poor and tickets are sold out.
Hey, first off I'd like to say I really appreciate your music, thanks a lot!
I was wondering which song you mixed together with Beirut - Elephant Gun at around 35:00 ? :)
Beirut's "Elephant Gun" but remixed up

@aaasamaaa
