And Grevious still exists tho. In a way, he does. His signature mask inspired by Kaleesh warriors' traditional masks is still existent. As I heard; it currently belongs to Thrawn's collection of historical art pieces!
@@garyeltheimmortal331 I wanted him to still be alive in some way. Like a chip or like memory if it could be programmed in another droid or mechanical body or something like that. I don't even know if that would be possible tho.
He got revenge on the government that oppressed his people, died in combat and became a god after he died. I don’t think anyone in Star Wars had a more honorable death.
Amazing video! I love grievous, hes such a cool character, I love his four arms, his lightsaber skills, his hate, his everything, grievous is easily one of my favorite star wars villains!
Grievous is such an awesome character. One of my favorites from the Prequels era. All that hatred in him too, he could've been a powerful Sith if he was force sensitive. For me my favorite Grievous moment that I can remember (Incoming spoilers for the Clone Wars) Is when he slaughtered the Nightsisters clan. I love when a bad guy doesn't just lose all the time and can be scary as well as a legitimate threat.
This is the video that made me find you, i was at the gym wondering if anyone had made a grievous tribute and low-and-behold....this....masterpiece....my favorite
Grievous is definitely a supervillain who didn't reach his full potential. Wouldn't it be great if you thought that he had the force, while even this state of him allows him to easily kill most of the Jedi?
Even tho Obi-Wan was the only Jedi to defeat Grievous, he still only did so using a ranged weapon. Using his skills as a Jedi did allow him to take a couple hands, but if he didn’t grab the blaster, he probably coulda been merc’d by Grievius.
@@ositototto2442 That's true. He could unlock his connection to The Force, he had Sifo-Dyas' blood in him after all. That would be the best moment of my life ❤️
Everything and everyone he ever knew was destroyed by the Republic and their Jedi puppets. He was bombed by the Separatists and had his memories altered to further manipulate him into joining the Separatists. Truly one of the most tragic characters.
Hailing from a race of people who learned from birth that in order to survive you have to stack bodies like cordwood. Saw his father slain by slavery, preferring death to servitude. Haunted by dreams, he ventured out into the wild, meeting the love of his life in battle. She taught him to master twin blades, he taught her masterful skills with the rifle. Together they unified their world and drove off the slavery. Then they attacked the slavers homeworlds to take back their people, but the slavers had one trick up their sleeve. They called in the jedi. These butchers halted their advance, with his love dying in front of him, Grievous was left without purpose as his people were once again saddled with war debt to their own oppressors. So the Warlord became a mercenary, and paid back every cent. Even this was not enough, and the slavers once again began stealing his people, so the general set out again to slay these monsters. A bomb was placed on his shuttle, however, and he was mutilated in the blast. In hindsight the general knew he had been played, but at that point he didn't care. A future without Jedi was on its way with or without him. His love awaits in the hunting fields beyond.
If you think about it, Grievous was one of the only Star Wars characters that actually died on his own terms. He died after bringing the republic to its knees, with the Jedi order on the verge of extinction, and in the heat of battle to the point where his people’s religious authorities canonized him into godhood
I feel very sorry for him he wanted vengeance for his people the only thing the jedi fear is him, he will rip and tear until its done. Sound familiar?!
Well in legends he kind of is. In it we learn his back story and it's sad. He was once a great warrior who fought to protect his people from an alien race that wish to inslave them. He then fell in love with a female warrior but so died at the hands of the enemy. This drove The Kaleesh who would become Grievous to go blood thirsty on his enemies and drove them off his home planet. But that wasn't enough. He soon went to the enemies home world and began slaughtering them but the enemy went to the Jedi and convinced them that they didn't start the war. The Jedi went to Grievous' world and put them into submission. Then put a large tax on his planet causing his people into poverty. He then realized he was destined to grieve for the rest of his life he took the name Grievous. In a choice he couldn't say no to he agreed to be an enforcer for the banking clan in exchange they would pay off his world's det. For an unknown amount of time he heard his old enemy was attacking his world again so he left the banking clan to help them. But the banking clan leader and count dooku didn't want to give up on a useful tool so they sabotage Grievous' ship causing it to explode killing everyone onboard except for Grievous but the explosion destroyed almost all of his body. He was taken to Geanosia to be turned into a cyborg. Grievous at first refused as he saw it as a fate worse then death but the banking clan leader convinced him to agree as to avenge his people and take revenge on the Jedi for what they did to him home world and to himself. Grievous agreed but demanded that they don't alter his brain but they did. They put a chip in his brain to constantly feel anger and hatred.
*he isn’t really a villain. He was manipulating into thinking the Jedi were responsible for doing everything that has happened to him… villains aren’t born, they are made…*
Well to be honest for 90% of what he went through yeah the Jedi were responsible the only thing the sith lied to him about was who planted the bomb on his ship the Republic and the Jedi quite literally joined his people's war on slavery *on the side of slavery* he has every reason to absolutely despise both the Republic and the Jedi

I really like grievous man. It’s a shame they nerfed him so bad in the clone wars but I still think he is a great villain. He’s known for killing tons of Jedi even in canon but they hardly prove it
Grievous is literally one of the most powerful beings in all of Star wars he was on the same level Jedi kill count and being the fear in the galaxy as Vader Anakin literal space Jesus and he did it all WITHOUT THE FORCE in fact he may in fact be the strongest non froce sensitive character in Star wars period
It was his hate and arrogance that killed him. If Grievous toned down his ego he could see what Obi Wan was doing by calming his mind in order to defeat him. Grievous was a victim of his arrogance and hatred for the jedi
in my opinion I think he was killed off to too quickly and maybe should had more screen time. Also I think he should of had an returning from the dead ark
