Being Irish an irish decendent in America, yes I did know that. Irish slaves were the first slaves that the British traded/sold to the America's (Amazon plantations, central America, and British plantations in North American colonies. Because it was cheaper than buying African slaves from Barbary pirates. So the first slaves the British brought to America were Irish who were endentured by force to the British.
Black people think they were the only slaves.
Mine are Irish/African sold to Cromwell Plantation
Will everyone know that they have a gift when they are exercising it?
@kaleidoscope8743 I'm not exactly sure what your conviction was with this teaching that produced your response however; I felt compelled to reply to you. I did research many years ago, and correct me if I'm wrong but, the origin of slavery was birthed(rooted) in Mesopotamia and Africa/Egypt. Many were reluctant to perform hard labor for others with little to no pay(be it charitable works). So they began taking people hostage for wrongdoing and vulnerable people as well(what we call today human trafficking). As a result slavery was born. It's a tragic reality in this world, also that countries would sell their own citizens for profit/gain into slavery.
If you're harboring resentment for any reason, I hope you pray for the way to understanding it, accepting the reality of it within yourself, loving who God made you to be, trusting God and His word, surrendering it all to God and doing good, even when it hurts. God will bless you.
