Yes, the chassis can become out of square over time. As for a quick fix, loosen all the bracings and align the chassis using shoulder screw and 5 wides again, then tighten the bracings and remove the 5 wides. It is however easier to ensure that misalignments don't happen in the first place by having a well structured and supported robot. Note that this technique also applies to structures outside of the chassis.
