I actually played through my ps2 copy just the other week, still a great game, I can only imagine how much better it would've been if they only had more time to finish it completely.
they had the time but then the studio changed property so they were forced to change the story with the exact same deadline then the studio changed again and they had less than half the resources and time to do so then this game went through the worst crisis of the franchise and its still, by far, the best one yet

The nostalgia is so strong! One of the funnist games ever, love the humour in this and the memes are still great to this day. If this was remade it would be up there with Warped and CTR.

@@tylermatthew349 Gotta remember that in the PS2 era was easier to fail because many copies were pirated compared if it was released on a PS3 for example (so even less copies sold) plus it came after the disappointing Wrath of Cortex with lot of bugs so it failed badly for the publisher. For what I remember it still managed to sell like 400-500k copies,but critics,many players and Universal Studios weren't happy.Developers had too many ambitions with poor time,a true shame. If we will never get a remake I hope a passionate fan do it,everytime I see Twinsanity content a part of my heart breaks.
A game that used the classic Crash formula,creating open-maps where you can actually explore and solve enviromental puzzles with a great comedy tone and an actual story to follow (even if not the best,absolutely) had the worst publisher ever for it. It had a pretty problematic and rushed development that created lot of bugs and cut content,it's really a damn shame.I don't know how a Crash fan can't like this game,only nostalgia and the focus on bugs can deny that this game had lot of potential to be the best Crash game ever made and on par with Naughty Dog (considering what came next until N-Sane Trilogy).The Crash community haven't forgot this game,neither Beenox or Vicarius,but maybe we will never see it remade or expanded. I still have feels when I start Twinsanity on my PS2 to these days.
most elements of IAT are very alike the original and final concept of Twinsanity tbh i do consider it the very best crash bandicoot game to date i can play the OG trilogy or the N.Sane version and enjoy them but i have limits to how much time i can spend with it, rather this one i can go to a full playthrough once or twice non stop this game deserved better, unfortunately, it was too far ahead of its time

Considering the lot of glitches it has and how fast you complete it in 100% is way faster than any other crash games i belive is notorious how incomplete it is, but they still do a solid job adapting

so happy I own a copy of this game on PS2. Still sad of all the stuff that was cut but to me this was the last good crash game on the PS2. in 4K its so colorful and brings me joy.
I have the game on both PS2 and the original Xbox. Also the rare Japanese PS2 version ^^ The only differences between them are the glitches. In the Japanese version, Rusty Walrus runs into the walls and stops chasing you, in the Xbox version the audio desyncs during the cutscene you meet Nina because it lags.
I think this is the first game I ever played. I remember it was a Crash game. That dun dun music is so familiar. EDIT: 3:35 oh yeah i definitely played this one lol
I enjoyed this when I was a kid. Being an adult It no longer causes the same sensation as before. I do prefer a remake and see the levels that got cut during the development.
I think that they wanted to create a game like this with 4 but they were scared of fans not liking an open-map formula (since many people to these days still criticize that...). Despite the flaws I am glad we got a good Crash 4.
I used to think this was the best non-Naughty Dog game until Crash 4 It's About Time rolled around but now it's the best 6th gen Crash game in my opinion. Good story with the best humor of the entire series (I may think that the Evil Twins are lame but at least the other one referenced Shrek 1 "This is the part where you run away"), pretty great gameplay, awesome graphics, one of the best soundtracks of the franchise and Traveler's Tales KNEW that Wrath of Cortex is mediocre!
I just don't get how people can like It's about time. Yeah, it has good things, but imo it has way more bad things, such as the bs crates placements, don't even get me started on those bs crates.

The story is ok I guess, but the looks... hell mate, N.sane trilogy/CTRNF had it perfect, but this? Crash games have always looked kid friendly but It's about time feels like a fucking Discovery Kids TV program. That's just my opinion tho.
I'd love to see a remake of this game, was one of my favorites, but Activision rebooted the franchise with It's About Time. And seeing this one is a direct sequel to Wrath of Cortex I guess it'll never happen now, sadly
It could still happen. Crash always had a multiverse thing going on like Crash of the Titans and Twinsanity is popular enough to demand a remake as well. Unless they're planning on a It's About Time sequel, Twinsanity still has a pretty good chance for a remake

They should do a Remaster of both Cash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex and Crash: Twinsanity! I couldn't beat a certain boss in TWOT, but that was when I was a teenager. As an adult, things would be a lot different. I beat all 3 games in the NST and I beat IAT. They were incredibly hard, especially IAT! I don't give up easily. I persevere! When you persevere, you can accomplish things and beat games! I know CB games are all challenging, but I love a good challenge! I hate beating games in just a week! Give us remasters of CB: TWOT and CT!
if they were to make a remake for this game all they would have to do is remodel the base textures to a newer sleeker animation style, and polish the game's movement mechanics and camera angle. any other changes would be detrimental to the nostalgia while playing I'd imagine. really hope they don't forget about this game and give it a faithful remake

I enjoyed this when I was a kid. Being an adult It no longer causes the same sensation as before. I do prefer a remake and see the levels that got cut during the development.

I think that they wanted to create a game like this with 4 but they were scared of fans not liking an open-map formula (since many people to these days still criticize that...).
Despite the flaws I am glad we got a good Crash 4.

I used to think this was the best non-Naughty Dog game until Crash 4 It's About Time rolled around but now it's the best 6th gen Crash game in my opinion. Good story with the best humor of the entire series (I may think that the Evil Twins are lame but at least the other one referenced Shrek 1 "This is the part where you run away"), pretty great gameplay, awesome graphics, one of the best soundtracks of the franchise and Traveler's Tales KNEW that Wrath of Cortex is mediocre!
I just don't get how people can like It's about time. Yeah, it has good things, but imo it has way more bad things, such as the bs crates placements, don't even get me started on those bs crates.

Really didn't like Dingodile and Cortex's levels.
The story is ok I guess, but the looks... hell mate, N.sane trilogy/CTRNF had it perfect, but this? Crash games have always looked kid friendly but It's about time feels like a fucking Discovery Kids TV program.
That's just my opinion tho.

I'd love to see a remake of this game, was one of my favorites, but Activision rebooted the franchise with It's About Time. And seeing this one is a direct sequel to Wrath of Cortex I guess it'll never happen now, sadly
It could still happen. Crash always had a multiverse thing going on like Crash of the Titans and Twinsanity is popular enough to demand a remake as well. Unless they're planning on a It's About Time sequel, Twinsanity still has a pretty good chance for a remake

This game was so good as a kid! I actually wish that Crash 4 game from 2020 was more in the vein of these PS2 crash games. Going back to ps1 style while fun, seemed regressive to me!

They should do a Remaster of both Cash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex and Crash: Twinsanity! I couldn't beat a certain boss in TWOT, but that was when I was a teenager. As an adult, things would be a lot different. I beat all 3 games in the NST and I beat IAT. They were incredibly hard, especially IAT! I don't give up easily. I persevere! When you persevere, you can accomplish things and beat games! I know CB games are all challenging, but I love a good challenge! I hate beating games in just a week! Give us remasters of CB: TWOT and CT!

if they were to make a remake for this game all they would have to do is remodel the base textures to a newer sleeker animation style, and polish the game's movement mechanics and camera angle. any other changes would be detrimental to the nostalgia while playing I'd imagine. really hope they don't forget about this game and give it a faithful remake
