  • Watch ‪@THEmortal_jason‬ absolutely destroy me online in MK2 on the PS3, WHICH still works online by the way. I came into battle not knowing what to expect. I came out of battle bruised and beaten. While it sounds like I’m complaining that he didnt use random, he did infact use a variety of characters which is as good as random. We played for another 45 mins after the video and i did get slightly better even winning a match with Stryker in UMK3. I just HAD to let everyone know that 😂
    Think I’ll play the computer now 😂
    ENJOY!

    Disclaimer: I’m not a pro nor have I ever said that I am anything other then an average gamer who just LOVES Mortal Kombat 2 win or lose. Also I talk about Jason picking random in the video which he clarified to me after that he couldn’t because that version didn’t allow player 2 to choose random. The man is infact legit and has a few videos on his channel proving this. YES he destroyed me, THAT’S what the title of the video says, I continued to play for another 45 mins after the video, and it was all good. Jason is a cool player and very humble.

    GGs bro, thanks for the matches. Player 2 can't Random Select on PS3 Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection, or else I would have for sure. That's why I just go through and pick every character one at a time :D Jax can do multiple Ground Pounds in a row if you sort of button mash low kick. Works on the arcade original too as I've done it there. (It's actually easier to do at the arcade). Also works for Liu's Bicycle Kick btw.

We knew all characters moves, combos/juggles, which character had the best uppercut, which character had the best jumpkick, etc. I used to play Shang Tsung because I knew all the characters too well. So it's a lot more "guided or informed" practice. Whereas most of us when we play a game, just kind of get better as we go based on our own experience. When I was a kid there was a game called "double dribble" I was pretty good at this game, and could easily beat all my friends. Then, I went to visit a cousin who lived in another city that I rarely saw. He absolutely destroyed me. Thanks Kendrick 🙂 I stopped because of a few reasons, mostly because people stopped playing. Also the drama was too much. It's awesome that you upload this, it shows great character. There's a big difference beating the CPU like you can or playing vs people but both take skill. And this Jason guy will face other players and feel what you felt, like he can't do anything. What's also funny is he would probably lose to the cheated cpu even if he's clearly a great player. Just different things to get good at.

    • @THEmortal_jason
      @THEmortal_jason ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can run through the CPU in about 15 mins, as they're pretty easy to exploit. I find the CPU in UMK3 much much harder. The only time I've felt helpless like I can't do anything is when the lag is horrible. I agree Darryl is a great guy to post this, and that positive attitude he has will make him a better player because he isn't afraid to lose in order to learn.
