Those nata books seem so cool!! For the broken dolls book, the artist might have printed it on premium paper that Amazon artists use for picture books for kids. It kind of looks like that shiny type of paper and if they only used gray or black ink, it turns into a coloring book.
I can't wait to do a flip through for everyone and give pencils a try on that paper. I have high hopes for the paper. 😁

Great haul. I actually just ordered the Ohuhu acrylic markers today. I have been wanting to try them so I am so happy you said you do. I have the Arrtx acrylic brush markers and love them. I think I may need that classic horror comic book in my life.

My glossy accents turned yellow after while but it still is mostly clear. I only notice the yellowing when I use white gel pen underneath. Ok, still watching.
Hmmm. I wonder if I got an old bottle? I haven't opened it yet, you'd think it would still be clear?

I have videos coming up on the Arttx. They are not opaque and I suspect not acrylic paint!! But, they are interesting. Loading the Doll book and my experiments on the premium paper (OMG!) as I type. We need a coloring book revolution... Power to the people!
@@doodlerobot42 Ooh I might wait to see what you think of them then, I suspect they will be an acrylic ink, as I can't see how they could work otherwise. I've pretty frustrated with my acrylic pens, I think I've found some that are good, and then the next time you come back to them they won't work, its such a waste of money.
Lol, Unless we all stop buying, I don't think they will change to better paper, they know we are hooked on buying it, how ever rubbish they make it!🤣

Yeah, I see colorists galore using gold everywhere. And me - hardly ever. But, I like silver for some reason? 🤷 I do like the new set up, but there are more shadows I think? I just shot a video tonight swatching the Arttx pens and it was nice to be able to sit comfortably and do that. Happy coloring Bee!! 👍😀👽🖖
Because my job is very stressful I very often just sit and look at my coloring books. I want to color but I'm soooooo tired. 😫 so I know how you feel. In these situations I go to color by number...no thinking just laying color down.
I completely understand. I just bought a whole bunch of design books for these stressful times. Hopefully this will work. Otherwise the next step is color by number. It's funny - I have one picked out on Amazon. I keep putting it in my cart and then taking it out... I have done this numerous times now. 🤷 Anyway, happy coloring it whatever way gets it done for you. 👍😀👽🖖

I want to start colouring with markers but I'm too afraid to start, I have a bunch of colouring books on my Amazon wislist, but I'm so afraid that I'll disintegrate the paper
I just recommend lots of experimenting. There is usually a page that you can test on in coloring books - either superfluous pages or one that you know you would never color in a million years... I would just start with one book. Maybe one that has single sided images if you want to test water based markers. Definitely need single sided if your goal is alcohol markers. I wish you much happy experimenting👽🖖
