Just that orphans parents may have left demised early or left them ...orphans at very young age without any trace that of them being found. But left the kids in the orphanage homes to be taken care of. Tu Tien said to Jack that ever since she was five years she was already living around the mountainous area till at age 15 yrs she was arranged n met her ex husband through her ex alcoholic husband's mother to be her daughter in law...to work for them in the house n farm works... Her ex in law family mistreated her to the extent of not allowing her Tien to eat the home meals cooked by Tu Tien ard the same table. She Tien even relates that she can n will only eat her family cooked meals alone after her these family members...ex husband n ex mother in law had eaten their foods!!!
