Frazier was eventually going to be the starter. Nate Herbig having a season ending injury gave Frazier the starting center job. He was a second pick in this year's draft. So far, Frazier looks great.
Fautanu was picked one round before Frazier. Those two will help rebuild The Steelers O Line. They are a perfect compliment to Arthur Smith's offense.

If the Bears kept Fields, draft O-line help and MHJ, they probably would have a more efficient offense.
Exactly. Arthur Smith has an identity for The Steelers. Run the ball, possess it and pass efficiently. Justin Fields just has to manage the game and take the occasional shot.
If the bears would have drafted fautanu and Frazier..they would be better off..than drafting odunze and Amegadgie.

@@suwop_da_great1815 fields has had 200 yards and 2 tds negated due to penalties. You can be angry and rage all you want but it’s clear you haven’t watched a single snap of Steelers ball this year. They’re consistently getting first downs, converting on third down, fields isn’t having turnovers and is taking care of the ball great. He’s looked accurate too. Not his fault his offense is getting penalties. Watch the games and simmer down

Russ will not play a snap this season in Pittsburgh. He is out of shape as well and it would take a year to get into game shape. When the QBs do drills Wilson looks slow and never takes more than a 2 step drop while Kyle Allen and JF are taking 3 5 7 steps and running the whole play. I wouldn't bet on Wilson. He could be preparing on retirement.

@@tbreezo6293 Sorry but Wilson is done. He isn't in game shape and they are using that injury word as a way to control the narrative right now. Don't be surprised when Wilson won't take a single snap in Pittsburgh. He is 35 with a lot of wear on his legs. He is slow now and wouldn't be able to escape pressure and sacks. His SB ring was 10 years ago plus He had best defense in NFL for 5 years and that was back when he was a rushing threat . Why do you think Seattle would rather have Geno Smith and Why Denver would rather eat a huge debt than continue with Wilson as QB. Plus that Denver offense had better personnel than What Pittsburgh does right now. Steelers don't even have a WR2 ,a young OL , so Wilson would be way worse than Fields is. Fields is actually playing like a top draft pick he was. Kenny Pickett went from Heisman candidate to leading one of worst offenses in NFL and He wanted out .

Dan moore is graded as a top 3 tackle, frazier is a dog and fautanu just got back off injury and looks extremely promising. Plus seumalu will return to left guard. You’re just shooting from the hip here
