Year 2023, the 17th year of Akhil Malpa Dongri No. 1, 2, 3 Mitra Mandal (Govinda Pathak) marks an important transitions as it marks a huge comeback of the Govinda Pathak. In past few years, the Govinda Pathak witnessed a downfall which came to a day where the pathak was going to shut, however the Govindas had some other plans. Showing their grit, perseverance and will power, Akhil not only made a comeback by again creating an 8 tier but also awoke the hope of creating a 9 tier pyramid which the Govindas had seen in 2009 and tried for the same.
Even though it was pouring the entire day, the Govindas of Akhil didn't lose even one ounce of energy. The journey started with breaking the famous Dadar market's Dahihandi at 8 tiers making headline for new channels and newspaper, then going Bhandup and Mulund, and ultimately building and dismantling 8 tiers at MLA Avinash Jadhav and MLA Rajan Vichare's famous Dahihandi's. The day ended by breaking the Dahihandi organized by MLA Rajan Vichare, which also regained recognition. The message was clear, "we are back in the game!"
