Hello, Molt. I’m a Korean gamer & TH-camr, called '도티'(DDotty), who primarily creates Minecraft videos. I just use the most efficient deck for me, and enjoy the game. Sure, some people put more emphasis on using diverse strategies to enjoy the game, but for me,, I just want to perfect one strategy and get the most trophies I can.
If my deck has a problem, I’m sure Supercell’s gonna update it, and I’ll fix my strategy accordingly. Anyways I admire your videos, and I learn from yours as a fellow youtuber. But I suggest you stop dissing me with your disrespectful tone.

But molt's not wrong, i mean, using the rocket and mortar to win and then just defend constantly.. it might work, but its certainly not fun to watch or go up against in a match, just like spawners. I mean i dont really care if you were to attack me with that strat, but he's not wrong, its a boring play style and just not fun to "attempt" to counter (since you cant counter rockets) and just watch someone whittle away your tower and you cant do anything about it. Its boring. Now also, you might have a lot of subscribers, but he wouldn't know who you are. There are thousands of you tubers, you cant know all of them, so you saying that he should stop dissing you with that tone is completely understandable, but if you werent a popular youtuber.... does that mean he can keep dissing you? Does being somewhat famous (i guess if a lot of people know you you could be famous) just change the fact you're allowed to play this way and nobody can have a say and rant about it? No. You're not the only one with this strat so dont worry, he's not directly dissing you, you just happen to be at his trophy range and you just happen to use that strat. Good talk sir.
(I don't know how to find the keys you have typed in your name) you play this game like all of us and we all use different strats most people get mad because they find it hard in what you do best, and this game is pretty much all about being the best, don't stop until what you do best.

I also think that using x-bow and mortar and playing defensively does take skill. Molt is just salty that he can't play against it and he can't use it

I know it's a part of the game but supercell should bring in a proper counter for it
they should add air defence / rocket counter
They should add either the air defense or the eagle artillery

The rage is real. To be fair, defensive is a great strategy. There is a lot of defensive cards. I don't play defensive cause I don't find it fun but I can see why people do.
After watching the whole video. I feel you Molt. That's a really cheap strategy. There is literally nothing you can do against this deck.

Theres actually a lot if ways to counter this deck.
I get matched up with players who use the mortar or the x-bow deck.
The key is to force him to go defensive.
Most of the time i let their x-bow/mortar shoot and I push for the other tower.Their deck is for 1:0 win.You won't see them getting 3 crowns against anyone :D

One thing I love about your Clash Royale videos is that you replay wins AND losses. It's one thing to see what works, but to see what was done wrong to correct that for the future helps soooo much more. Again, thanks for showing wins and losses.

With all due respect guys, I agree with molt. There are hard cards to counter, there are easy cards to counter, at least they go for the tower, balloon, prince, pekka etc. X-bow and mortar? Nope. They can just snipe you from half way across the map. People with that stuff and missile do not know how to play the game with regular troops. At least spawner decks use troops.
+Jose Ramon Lopez Buildings shouldn't target towers, the only time a splash damage building should be able to do damage is if it is targeting a troop with a tower very close to it.
The counter to a rocket is taking out his towers with your skill/cards/gems/credit card

Here is why:
Nerfed: doing less damage to crown towers!
Buffed: doimg more damage to troops! Nobody uses it for defense because you can get better defenses for less elixer!

wanna know what pisses me off so much? those that use rockets or fireballs to finish off a tower.
It doesn't make me mad if the use them to finish off a tower but when that's all they do all game is lob rockets. Ya that pisses me off.

The game goes through changes it wouldn't be a fun game if everyone did the same thing. It needs diversity i think molt is just saying that this should be changed for the game to continue to be fun and versatile in play styles

Um I don't think that you understand, sure he's playing a defensive deck, it's part of the game dude. +Dawson Chavez ok countering it doesn't necessarily means that you have to block the rocket shot. You can push in another lane. In a strategy game you can sacrifice something inorder to get something better. It is often done in chess. Called gambit.

Molt quit being salty. Just because you spent thousands on this game doesn't mean you deserve to win every single game. These cards are in the game for a reason. The GOOD players know how to use them properly. You're bad kid. Come at me fanboys.

It seems like Molt only complains when hes losing and rants a lot, but when it's him that uses a strategy and wins its ok. WTF Molt! If you cant win Molt then stop complaining. Im not trying to hate, Im just saying.
The main problem is that they want every building to be playable, and the result is that the association of all those building is broken. Now there might be 2 solutions:
1. They supress some building, such as the mortar (which has no utility since the xbow should be the only building touching the opponent's tower, and considering many other cards that are able to do area damage and are more flexible)
2. They add a limit concerning the number of buildings you can have in your deck (but i guess some new defensive deck will appear with less buildings)
Another solution could be an upgrade of the zap (with isn't played at all): increasing by xxx% the damage done to a building (not arena/king's tower). It would allow people to use the zap efficiently, but also to easily take out the buildings and thus to push to the arena's tower. This way the full defensive deck would be defeated, but it won't affect too much the deck with one or two defensive building.
What do you guys think ?

That's his strategy, he can think of the same thing with offensive troops. A win is a win doesn't matter what strategy he uses. If the card was offered to him why not use it? He's just using a strategy that fit him the best. Let use war for example a win is a win, like the guerilla tactic it's not so honorable but so what it can get you the win. It's not like that strategy is unbeatable, as we can see you just won some matches with it. If the developers didn't want people to use the Xbow or the mortar as an offensive and a defensive troop then why would they made the range that long. At the end I still think people have their ways of playing and you should respect the way they play. @gamingwithmolt
They should put a rule that stays: 1Defense per Deck, 2Spell cards per Deck and 2 Epics per Deck :-/

+Kevin Ricardo so what if it's a hit and run method? A win is a win. People use guerrilla tactics in war, and you don't see anyone protesting complaining to stop using the strategy. At the end a win is a win. If a strategy is so hard that your 9 year old brother is having trouble playing a supercell game, then there's the real problem.
I guess it's good to live in a world where everything is more accepted as it comes. Instead of having suggestions and voicing them on a public platform without facing even more ridicule from peers who first started the same as all of us.

Hey Molt, honestly, I don't like how you talk badly about strategies such as the one your opponent is using when you are ignorant to how card games work. I play multiple card games such as Magic the gathering, hearthstone, Yugioh and of course clash royale to name a few. And control type strategies are a deck archetype in card games. Your opponents deck reflects a classic control deck, the defenses act as removal, and the rocket is a win condition, but what's wrong with that, he is playing a strategy that the game provides the cards to support. And it's not like this is a broken strategy or anything, it can be beat, and maybe your deck wasn't suited for this matchup, but it's impossible to tech for everything with only 8 deck slots and one game series's where you cannot sideboard cards into your deck to counter your opponents in the next round. Control strategies require a lot of skill to play because the elixir costs are high which makes the player have to use their cards properly
I completely agree my friend! Takes no skill to launch a rocket, and you can't counter it at all. What's the point of even playing if you want to play the easy way with no challenge. Love the video Molt. You're a great man!

X-Bows and Mortar/Rockets are like Spawner Buildings early game - these people just defending and having a horde of troops is just stupid. I 120% agree with you
its not broken molt. its a style of play and some ppl actually enjoy it. also it does not mean that if someone is good at the rocket deck he cant play any other cards. i personally play all types of decks, win with them and really enjoy them all at the same level. so i highly doubt that these cards are going to go anywhere. rocket takes 6 elixir so the counter is to push hard after the other person uses a rocket as he is low on elixir
Molt I personally think that you should prove to everyone that there's no skill involved in it by using it in a video and no skipping your losses with the mortar, X-bow or rocket. Like if you want Molt to do this.
I found it quiet entertaining. How he can just lay waste to every troop you place and take out your towers by just being defensive.
here's an idea for nerfing building defenses:-once locked onto a crown tower, the timer runs down quicker

A good way to stop something like this is if the game devs did something like if you freeze the king tower they can't do spells or something. It would make sense

guys.... if people are using the sim city tatic, just put a drag in ur deck, and the drag will destroy the troops from spawners, just try to get many air troops and splash dmg troops, and arrows too, if the spawner is in the left, attack from the right because they will distract ur troops, and the spawners wont do much dmg to ur tower as ur own kill squad
If I was watching a replay of an attack in clash of clans, and I saw a mortar start attacking my defense, I would freak out. same applies here
U seemed so pissed. When he said "Good luck", you showed no respect by your sarcasm, then won like a jerk by 3*"Thank you". There's a reason that his deck works, and that's not due to cards' overpower. If that deck takes no skill, everybody can climb up to 4000+ trophies with it, it's just you being salty when you find it hard to counter it.
lots of people are hating on you for saying which cards you hate, which is silly, cause its just an opinion. I personally like to hear your opinion, I do agree that defensive decks are lame because as you said it takes away from how the game was intended to be played. Personally, I love using the mortar, but mostly as like a backup defense that I can use to take out distractions against Pekkas when I use them, and I also like to use it defensively against barbarians when my Valkyrie is down. I think it did need the 10 seconds extra time, because it is really easy to distract an offensive mortar if you know how.

They should add a force field that hovers over wherever you put it and it works like the towers as in it degrades in health over time and if taken enough damage it will die. It should only defend against the rocket, fireball, arrows, and mortar. It should cost 6-7 elixer.

I agree, the supercell should to put a limit of buldings, like 3 bulding in level 6, 4 in lvl 7 etc. I think it would be better.
I see skill in people not complaining about losing about balance and instead figuring a strategy to defeat opponent.
Idea for troops - lightening Wizard costs 5 or 6 elix acts like a mobile lightening spell but hits only 1/2 tank troops
I played a guy that used all defenses and spells, and just used a mirrored rocket on my kind tower for the whole game. But i managed to pull a vic at the last second
Tbh an Air defense to counter rockets or arrows is a pretty good idea. But the other towers like the defenses are easily counterable. If your not good enough to counter then that's your deal.

I noticed that a quite a few people are getting into "arguments" over this. Honestly, what it seems like Molt is trying to say is that you can tell when somebody is good if they can win with a lot of strategies. The reason why actually makes sense because they have to understand the game in order to put this strategy together and know how to use it, not including the fact that they are probably well skilled and experienced with the strategies in order to win well with it. Molt is just getting annoyed because he's never seen this guy show any originality by using a different strategy. It also probably annoys him that you can't really win against the cheap strategy without rushing to overwhelm them, which by the way seems like a good way to counter that tactic.
New card: Forcefield, costs 7 elixir. When spells that do damage (arrows, fireball, rocket) launch, you can place the Forcefield down and it turns the spell into dust. Unlocked at Arena 5. Let me know what you think!

I find the way to beat them is to rush their buildings. It becomes a problem when they use the bomb tower, tesla, inferno, and x-bow with rocket, fireball and barbs
Supercell should have a defence line for the actual defences, maybe just in front of the two non king towers that defences can't be placed across.
The counter to rocket is a push in the opposite lane, you should have 6 elixir to spend on a push that they can't match
Guys shield card epic idea cost 2 elix for spell damage and 3 elix for troop tower damage. Has to be short lived though like lv1 1 sec appropriate skilled timing required. Also add a skirmish mode play with 6 cards and add a battle mode able to use 10 or 12 cards at once a larger deck
there should be some kind of gravity spell that prevents the rocket exedera from hitting your tower
I have a tips for the prince, use a tombstone. It is really effective!
#i agree the mortar and buildings are pretty hard to counter but with a high skill level it is easier, but i am definitely agreeing that missiles/lightning/fire ball should do less damage because i too have lost to these "ünskilled" weapons
I don't understand how a massive rocket, targeted at the top of a crown tower, doesn't explode and kill the archer.
Molts saying that the mortars time limit needs to be nerfed to 15 seconds... Guess what molt, you just made it twice the time after the new update!
Introduce dark elix pump costs 6/7 elix lasts longer and generates more elix :-) or allows your dark troops to be deployed at minus 1 elix cost when down

The problem is that there is no way to counter rocket/fireball/lightning.When my tower is low in health,I know I am gonna lose unless I can destroy his tower.

Molt they don't want a one dimensional game--which is what you want. Lets not forget that rockets etc cost elixer--thus you should be able to compensate with troops. If you cant... whose problem is that?
I agree with the rocket being uncounterable, but xbows and mortars take skill to use, as they are counterable with many things, especially the xbow since it is nerfed, and it takes skill to defend the mortar or xbow from the counters put down, as well as see when the player is out of elixir, so the mortar or xbow targets the tower.

Ive had to deal with players like that. They just use defensive buildings and use fireballs, rockets, or lightning.

True there isn't a counter for the rocket, but when the tower has little health left I have seen you use the fireball to take it out. Surely that is a lack of strategy and skill? Surely that is not countable?
Molt, i get your point, but i feel like they should have these types of tower cards, but they should be easily countered. It should take skill and be risky to play those types of cards
