My home is my sacred space and I have slowly and intentionally adorned it and filled with love. I have been working on projects around the barn cottage here and today I am continuing on with decluttering/ re-organizing my loft, where I keep my (very messy) laundry room. Grab a cup of coffee and tea and clean my space with me🤍

Awww. Your little picnic together ❤ Also, it is totally normal to have those places in your house where you just dump things. We don’t always have the energy to deal with stuff so it’s good to have a designated space so you can deal with it later & not worry too much about getting overwhelmed in your whole space.

Opening that top window should help, in concept. Hot air floats up and stays at the top of the cabin, if you open the window and place just one fan facing the window so it blows the hot air out and open a window downstairs you will create a natural ventilation of sucking fresh air from downstairs and venting hot air upstairs.

I love that you showed your organizing/redecorating process in this video because I have been in my first apartment for a year and 3 months and have not been prioritizing furnishing it and it sometimes makes me feel like I am super behind and like it should be picture perfect by now and I'm not even close. So this makes me feel so much better that you still have spaces you are working on after 6yrs ❤ I guess social media really makes us think we should have it all together right away and in reality it doesn't work that way ❤
I think homes turn out so much more authentic and beautiful when pieces are slowly added with intention rather than just buying stuff to fill the space. Definitely go at your own pace and don’t beat yourself up about it, life is hectic and we are all just doing the best we can. Sending lots of love💛💛💛

Can I just say that tiny rug under the girls food area is the cutest thing! Once you can open the window, I wonder if you can get on of those AC units up there that don’t sit in the window? Anyway, you have cultivated a beautiful space 🥄🥄❤
I found that little rug at an antique store and I thought it was perfect! The windows open sideways, not down, so unfortunately a window unit wouldn’t work. I’m gonna figure something out though! Thank you always💛🥄✨

An overhead fan on the underside of the catwalk would do wonders to draw cool air up into the loft! They make ones that plug into the wall, so you wouldn’t have to have any hardwiring done. Or if you could suspend the box fans over the edge, that might make a difference! New man looks handsome and has lovely table manners ❤

If you are able too I would recommend putting a portable ac unit upstairs. It has helped in ky home so much more than fans.
