"I've known plenty of people with money, and they are definitely not worth you." I love this line. He put so much worth in who she is with one sentence. He disregarded the clothes fully and looked at the woman herself.
"You look too much like you, and you don't look enough like something you're supposed to be." One of my favorite Percy quotes, in one of my favorite Perc'ahlia moment.
One of my fave moments of the whole campaign, pretty awesome that Laura was playing the long game for this long to reveal that the reason that Vex was greedy was because of her own insecurity. This is just one of those things that the animated series loses, you can't dedicate a quarter of an episode of TV to one conversation, no matter how engaging it is. That's why Critical Role will always be the greatest show ever imo
Very true! I was quite happy with the way they included it in the show, even as simpler, condensed version but this version will always be better imo Thanks for commenting!
The fact that I've only seen Campaign 1 one full time and can still repeat Percy's lines word for word just goes to show what an amazing character he is 😭😍 God I love him! 💜
This is one of my fave percahlia scenes. Its so rare for vex to be honest and vulnerable outside of life and death situations. And she actively brings up the topic with percy despite it being "not important". And i love how percy reacts because hes honest that no she doesnt look like she cones from wealth but then immediately offers to help her bs her way thru it. Only then does he ask whats rly going on, and with his background in nobility and generally being a pretty harsh truth kind of guy, saying that "theyre not worth you" is kind of a big deal from percy. Then she asks to stand by her while shes there and he promises. And in the next session he keeps that promise. Ack its so great. The moment from the next session wouldnt be nearly as impactful without this scene first in my opinion
They are indeed! This is from Critical Role, a real play D&D show, with a party made up of professional voice actors. Watching it is a very good time and I’d recommend it if you like any aspect of tabletop RPGs!

Mine too 🥺 I couldn’t find this clip on TH-cam so I had to fix that
@@zaraevee I don't know about individual clips. But there is a compilation of all the moments between Percy and Vex called the Perc'ahlia supercut.
I am simply awed by Lauras ability to live her character. I've never been moved like this by anything else, she's astonishing!

Oh yes, I agree with all your points! Its such an incredible and important scene that I hope we get see played out in animation some day.

Me too! I was so happy to see it and they did it so well!
These people are amazing roleplayers
