Thanks for watching our channel. Your question regarding specific diagnostic and repair issues is a common one and we would like to take a minute to be clear on these type of questions from aerial lift operators. OSHA mandates repairs to a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) may only be made by a qualified service technician according to the manufacturer's specifications. If you discover anything wrong during your pre-operation inspection or function tests prior to performing work, it is the properly trained operator's responsibility to tag the machine out, report the issue to your supervisor if applicable, then contact the nearest manufacturer authorized MEWP service facility to schedule a trained technician to perform the necessary repairs. You should never attempt to make repairs yourself. JLG's website has information on how to locate an authorized repair facility near you. Thanks for watching our videos. Locate the ground control panel on the back of your JLG 20MVL. (If you need help locating this panel, refer to your operator's manual.) This is the small black panel that has the red E-stop button and an LED screen. You will find 3 buttons on the lower left side of the ground control panel. The button to the far left should have this symbol on it in red: (O) and is the one that will release the brakes to allow the machine to be pushed manually. The LED screen should read "Brakes Released" when the button is pushed. At this point you should be able to push the machine. Please note, this requires the machine to have power. If you have no battery power, you will need to charge the machine for this function to work. Possibly a longer extension cord to a 110V outlet or if that's not possible a portable generator with a 110V outlet should work. There are also, forklift pockets on the side of the machine that will allow you to use a forklift to move closer to a receptacle for charging. If none of these options are possible where you are, you will need to contact your local JLG dealer and schedule a qualified service tech to help you get the machine operating. Hope this helps.
A very good, no BS, training video. Exactly what we needed. Thanks for putting it together.
Great video! What kind of plug extension is used to charge the battery?
Great video. Where's the diagnostic port for the analyzer, or how do you reset the brush wear indicator?

What if it’s dead? How do you manually push it or where can I release the breaks?
