fiio K9 pro has 1.1 watts into 300 ohms (xlr), and 2 watts into 32 ohms, lol. almost just as beastly, significantly cheaper though. You would never need that much power... sure you can pay for more power, but that doesn't mean any product on the market can even make use of all that power... So it's just a waste of money.

I'd have a lot of fun with this setup and you ever notice how your mood and personal stress tension can affect how sharp or relaxed you need your headphones to sound? You can just dial it in with this, to a degree. Awesome.
If that power supply had like 4 outputs that could be switched from the front panel, it would be way cooler. If I'm spending that much money, I'd like the ability to switch between a couple devices without changing plugs.
Tweakability is a blessing and a curse. I purchased a Schiit Lokius and its great and sucks because I waste time getting the perfect sound before I listen. I think I would waste too much time getting everything perfect with an EQ AND an infinitely adjustable power supply.
I just got the Erco and it sounds excellent,especially the DAC.I prefer it to my chord Qutest and my Fiio M 17,Kann cube,Its the best DAC i have heard.Extremely well balanced,very detailed,spot on imaging and an almost holographic sound.Matched to its class A amp ,at medium volume,its the best DAC/AMP combo ive come across.It sounds fantastic with my Diana MRs and its the best my Empyreans have ever sounded and I’m not even using the Hyposo power supply.However I did buy the Hyposo and I’m picking it up tomorrow,because I’m curious how good it could really sound.On its own it’s excellent,definitely should demo one if you get the chance.Tomorrow I’ll find out just how good it really is.But like I said ,on its own,its the best sounding all in one that i have ever listened too.Plus its rated at 6.1 watts at 50 ohms so power is not an issue.One quick observation,its dead quiet ,like black

Might the words you’re looking for describing the sound difference for the 909’s with the lower voltage be that the dynamics on the top end are just a bit less powerful relative to the rest of the frequency range? Dulling the sharpness?
It is definitely a great AMP and a power what ever but I like to listen to music simple as possible. To many functions drive me crasy. I like it a lot but I stick with my Lehmann USB 2 👍💪simple easy best sound
That’s nice, but Erish2 from Geshelli is super clean too, has no noise floor too, powers everything but 2 or 3 sets no one should really buy, and nearly costs 1/10th of the Polish marvel.
I have both and the ferrum setup is better,more musical ,better tonality and more open fuller sound.the ifi pro is colder sounding and more clinical,maybe a little faster
That's nice but for 800$ less you could get Audio-gd He-9 which sounds better than gs-x mini, or if you already have power conditioner you could get master 9 (very similar to he-9 just doesn't have built in power conditioner) for 1500$ less than this thing so yyeeeeeaaaaahhhhhhhhh

I heard this combo with utopia and clear in canjam and they were blown away by ECP DSHA 3F and some other similar range amps. I'm not sure if those units are flawed(highly unlikely since it is their own booth) or not but it sounded really boring...neutral yes? but that's it

You a clearly not an electrical engineer if you think the only thing that makes a good amplifier is snr. Please go to goldensound and get a eduction.
But it is much less powerful and less option of inputs and outputs. This thing has 8 watts in 60ohm and God knows how much power in the typical 32ohm.

I've tried the 1266 on these and it is a really great pairing. I'd say go for it, if 1266 is your main headphone. for susvara, it is just alright.
Xi formula S + powerman used is the way to go for 1266 phi tc.
