@@jjsvizard75 That’s a good interpretation, but I think they’re referencing the movie “the Truman show”. Basically the movie is about everything in Truman’s life being fake, he lives in a reality show where everyone is acting, but he thinks it’s real. In the movie when he leaves to go to work he says to his neighbors “and in case I don’t see you again, Good afternoon, good evening, and good night”. You should definitely watch it, it’s great.

@@gamerguy850 I think it specifically references the last time Truman says it, where he is about to exit the stage of the show, and the producers have expected him to do something dramatic and "out of character" as he exits to boost ratings. But Truman instead says his catchphrase, which was a big middle finger to the showrunners. He plays his part one final time to truly prove to his creators that he isn't their bitch anymore.
